Location is perfect. Service is good. Bellman are very kind, welcoming, and helpful. With that said, I was not impressed with this hotel whatsoever. We stayed 4 nights. We arrived at 4:30 pm or so and wasn't able to get into our room until 5:30 pm. Our room was not ready. I did receive a 100$ comp on our bill for the inconvenience. The room is extremely small and not close to luxurious. Bathroom was ridiculous. I'm a little flabbergasted at paying what we did. The carpet is old and disgusting that I did not dare to walk barefoot. The french doors to outside our room were facing another wall in a corner. It was weird to not walk out and be in the courtyard. It was like opening up into a little cubby hole. There were multiple rats frolicking in the courtyard at night and a dead one that was there our whole stay. The rooftop bar/pool was under construction so didn't get to experience that. No notice that it was off limits. The elevators were a major issue with 1 down, and the other two with very heavy traffic so it was a pain. Then on our 3rd day there the 2nd elevator went down.My room was next to the ice room and I could hear running water all night. It was one of THE LOUDEST rooms I have ever stayed in. I could hear every word in the hallway and outside. I definitely would NEVER stay here again.

The Omni is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, which we really appreciated. The rooms were nice and the overall hotel had a classy feel. That said, it definitely was not a quiet stay. We could hear a lot of noise, and there was construction happening inside the hotel during our visit. The valet service was convenient, but the valet attendant could have been friendlier. For the price and reputation, I expected a bit more. Still, the proximity to everything made the stay enjoyable overall.

We appreciated the staff. The only issue we had was hot water. We didn’t shower for the first 2 days because we couldn’t get hot water. We later learned that if we started the hot water 15 minutes prior to needing it, it would eventually get warm. Who knew??

I enjoyed the hotel. It was in a great location and the rooms were lovely. They had construction going on but I was able to use the gym at the Hotel Monte Leone. I would recommend this hotel.

We've stayed at this property numerous other times. This time, the pool and gym were under construction and closed which was a huge disappointment as we weren't told of this prior and we book here especially for the pool. The room had numerous things that weren't working. The maintenance people, while great, had to revisit several times over the course of a day to unclog the bathroom sink drain. No water was passing when we got there. The switch on the one lamp didn't work so if you wanted the light on or off, you had to screw/unscrew the bulb. AC plugs didn't work on the sides of the nightstands and not knowing that, our phones weren't charged as expected. Seems like a lot of little things but they added up to frustration. Rooms need to be remodeled as they have never been over the 20 years we've stayed there but they were clean and the bed comfortable. Staff is great. They just need to pay more attention to the details AND GET THE POOL OPEN! Had we known the pool and gym weren't open, we'd have been able to make other plans but didn't find out until we checked in.

This hotel is in the ideal location for walking to the best restaurants, antiques and getting to the waterfront for tours. The area is slightly busier so it makes for great people watching from the balcony. We visited in October 2025 while the pool, rooftop area and main lobby were undergoing renovations. The Main Hotel entrance requires that you ascend 10 or more steps with your luggage to get to the desk and elevators. There is rarely a doorman/porter there to help. The luggage carts are at the top of the steps. There is an attached parking garage which uses the same elevator as the lobby/rooms. Our room was more spacious than I expected for an older hotel, and it had all the expected amenities and comfort. Our shower had a horrible leak for which they compensated us with room service credit, since moving to another room was not an option. The Rib Room was an enjoyable place to listen to relaxing music each night. The bartenders were welcoming and attentive, even when the room was full. We would definitely pick this hotel again once renovations were complete.

We were never notified about our room being ready. We showed up at 4:30pm with no room available. The staff was extremely rude and not helpful. The air conditioning was stuck at 68° and the refrigerator didn’t work. A minimal discount wasn’t even offered

The room was so old and outdated. The furnishings were peeling, the carpet and the furniture looked like something they found in a garage sale. Obviously, they think they can get away with that because the building is historic. The plugs in the wall were limited and either did not work or were loose to the point they would fall out. They had several plugs on a multi plug cord that was definitely a fire hazard. We had to call maintenance because we couldn’t turn off the shower handle and the toilet wasn’t working properly. There also was an annoying noise that sounded like a drill that would start early in the a.m. We were sent an email shortly before our arrival saying the pool area was closed and that was why we booked the Omni. We were told we could use another pool at another hotel. Are you kidding me? We had robes in our room but were told we couldn’t keep them. Who would want to,,they didn’t even match. Amenities were very limited. The Keurig coffee maker shut down a couple times. The sheets on the bed were ripped. Ice machine in hallway didn’t work. We did not get room service because we opted out to help with “supposed” hunger organization. The balcony needed upgrading and that was another reason we booked this hotel. We got a great view of the side street with people walking by, but nothing else. The entry foyer has stairs to get to the elevator. Elderly or disabled people have a real problem. Getting luggage to room was difficult. A plus, good location.

When we arrived we were told the pool was closed due to construction but we were able to access a pool a block a way to make up for it. We heard zero construction noises and the staff were very nice and attentive!

The room was sub-standard. I'm surprised that it passed minimum standard for such a popular name. It was not a full room; more a half room. What seemed to be under a staircase was in a corner of the room. The only window was a half window, like in a cellar. The bathroom was so small that the toilet paper holder blocked access to the toilet. The clock didn't work; the lamp was out. You just can't believe how bad this room is unless you see it. It's room 734. Don't book it.
