"We had a lovely time at the cottage. The air was great, the drinking water excellent, the stars and the moon were enchanting, as were sunrise and the sunset. We patronized the local businesses and found all the people extremely friendly. Because of our age limitations we were unable to use the canoe, kayak or pedal boat. We were disappointed that we found the lake not good for swimming even at Centennial Park. Right in the middle of our stay there was a cold spell with the temperature going...

"This property is close to the road but far outweighed by the excellent enclosed gazebo behind the house. The house is very nice and kitchen well equiped. I would definitely stay here again."

"WE had a family vacation with 4 children 9-18 years and 6 adults. The place is as described, but one needs to read the description carefully - see next re water access. The access to the water is not easy as it is down a path through rocks and when you get to the water it is all green and slimy with a dock covered in goose poop. We did go kayaking, but swimming etc. is not an option. You can go to other beaches, but the lake had an E.coli outbreak so there was no swimming. An in-ground pool...

"We spend 3 nights at Gabriel's cottage. We had a good Time . Positive aspects; Beauty of the site, the the outside space; patio, SPA, dock, ... However there is a very steep trail to reach the dock. There is one peddle and ONE kayak .. (I wish we had 2). The fridge and the shower were dirty when we got there. The rest was ok and the bedding were clean et smelled good. No board Games and very few toys as it says. But all in all a great place and a Nice stay test was oktest es ok."

"Outstanding property. Have been to many in several countries. This was one of the best. Great location for kids. Right on the water. Kids fished and swam to their hearts content. Clean and in excellent repair. Owners gave a lot of great info for checking in etc. "

"Just as advertised! Large property, although the hike back up the hill from the beach was a bit taxing (but that's just me being out of shape). The hikes through the conservation area were great being so close. Our teens also loved the canoe and kayak that were available too! "

So many more cool features than listed, such as saucer swing, kids' kayaks, kids' ninja course and sand box, large lawn for outdoor games, floating water mat, wrap-around deck, and long shady driveway for walks to spot chipmunks and birds. "Beautiful (remote) setting was a perfect break from our big city Canada adventure. Our kids loved swimming and riding the paddle boat on the picturesque lake. Plenty of room for a family or families to spread out and enjoy a peaceful retreat."
