"Everything was excellent! Such a cute hotel and such a lovely town. We felt perfectly safe and at home during our stay. We stayed for 5 nights and took the train to Edinburgh, Melrose and Stirling. The hotel is close to the train station and very close to several lovely cafes. The price was reasonable. The room was lovely-comfortable beds, nice linens and nice soaps/shampoos. If we ever come back to the area, we will stay here! "

"All areas of the hotel were immaculate and very clean, plenty of parking spaces and very quiet at night, no noise from corridors or banging of room doors. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Their recommendation for food at Cooks Bar and Kitchen was an excellent choice, the Kelpies was a short pleasant walk, once out of the trading estate. The only downside was not being able to walk to a pub/restaurant for food, although the drive to Cooks was less than five minutes.There was a staff...

"Internet was a bit slow, always had to reconnect. Breakfast was good. A variety selection of food. And the staff were amazing from front desk to evening wait staff(James) to the breakfast crew. Would definitely stay again."

All of the basic/important things were top notch, and there were many nice touches, including indirect lighting and an abundance of electrical outlets.
