Nice cottage located in the north of Öland next to Byxelkrok | SE04024

This nice little red cottage is located just 2 km south of Byxelkrok in an area called Enerum and just a stone's throw from Byxelkrok's golf course - Öland's only 12 hole course. The cabin has two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and the other a bunk bed. The kitchen is well equipped with, among other things, a dishwasher, and next to the kitchen you will find the family room, which is furnished with a sofa bed and a dining area. From the living room you come out onto a partially covered terrace, where you can sit in comfortable outdoor furniture and relax after the day's adventure or have your meals. Adjacent to the entrance, you will find the bathroom with outside entrance, which is equipped with wc/shower. A small washing machine is also available and you can also reach this from the outside. Within walking distance you reach nice limestone outcrops where you can take a dip or if you want lovely long sandy beaches instead you take a trip of about 10 minutes to the other side of the island to Böda Bay. Inside Byxelkrok you will find a grocery store and down in the harbor there are several nice restaurants and small shops. The house is adjacent to the owner's summer house and they are on site sometimes.



To see and do in the immediate area

The northern part of Öland offers an exciting landscape. Visit the smokehouses in nearby Byerum or the magical Trollskogen. Beautiful orchids grow in the Neptuni meadows and please pay a visit to the Långe Erik lighthouse. Öland's zoo with its animals, carousels and water park is usually appreciated by the children, as is Lådbilslandet which is nearby.

In the southern part of the island are the royal castles of Solliden and Borgholm with all their shops and restaurants.
