However the moment we checked in we went to the spa where the cryotherapy was broken and we couldn’t order any refreshments as the lady said she couldn’t leave her post. "Kitchen / diner area is a great space but the house is tired with walls missing paint, garden overgrown, most of the toilets have temperamental flushes and it doesn’t sleep ten as suggested. 9 people max which was a surprise when we arrived as a booking of ten. Owners did accommodate extra bedding when informed and the property is clean with good bedding and towels. "

"We stayed here for one night en route back to London. The barn flat was immaculate, comfortable and ideal for a short stay. Anna greeted us on arrival and was a charming host. We highly recommend the Churchill Arms for dinner – only a 5-10 minute walk and our meal was excellent. In all, a wonderful experience – we would definitely stay here again."
