    This updated unit is in an ideal, peaceful Bright location offering comfort and space for a couple or family with 2 bedrooms and fantastic grounds.
    The safe & private, resort style unit complex offers a shared in-ground pool and paved BBQ/recreation area with lovely landscaped gardens and views of the pool. Relax under the shade of the elms while the kids splash away! The famous Cherry walk runs along the river at the end of the court into the centre of town for a gorgeous daily stroll.

    Your unit offers self-contained quality living with a fully equipped kitchen and open plan lounge & dining area. The fully equipped kitchen and laundry is a rarity in unit style accommodation but Amber Cottage has everything you could need. Air-conditioning and electric heating mean comfort year round.

Lovely stay with my elderly Mum

Lovely place, good access for limited mobility people, we had a great time! Nice little touches all over the place, good to have a TV with a netflix button!

On the outskirts of town which was fine for us as quiet and we biked into town, 20 to 30 minute pleasant (flat) walk for most and a two minute drive, the cottage was clean and full of everything you'd need (some you wouldn't expect) for a pleasant holiday, car was under cover in the carport and cottage easily fitted two adults and two kids, the bathroom has been renovated and the bed was so comfortable. We'd go back there again.

Perfect for a quiet retreat

Property is situated in a quiet location at the end of town with easy access to the river, and waking tracks to town and out to Freeburgh and beyond. Only disappointing aspect was that some of the furnishings are a little tired and the gardens at the property need a good cut back to lighten up the living spaces. Other than that the place is great for those seeking a quiet retreat with access to a pool shared by a small number of units.

Lovely cottage

We had a great time in Bright at Amber Cottage. Its just a few minutes drive from town or a 20 minute brisk walk. The cottage itself has great heating in the main rooms, the bedrooms were a little cold, but electric blankets helped. The kitchen is well decked out and is a good size. Lovely little spot for a small family. Will be back.

Very quiet location and excellent value for money

The cottage is in a very quiet location just a couple of minutes walk from the Ovens River. It is about a half hour easy flat walk to town either along the river or the street. Possibly the best equipped kitchen in holiday accommodation! Undercover parking leading directly into the cottage and a very comfortable main bedroom. There is plenty of cupboard space in both bedrooms. My only concern is that the wallheater would not be sufficient on colder nights.

Comfortable cottage

We enjoyed our stay at Amber Cottage. The cottage is small but perfectly adequate for 2. It was relatively clean and lovely and quiet as it is on the outskirts of town. We especially loved having our morning coffee out the back and talking to the duck who lives at the back. It was well equipped with all the necessary cooking equipment and linen.

Most enjoyable stay, everything we needed was there. Most impressed.
