The house has a 1930's facade and is located in the heart of the city, in a quiet residential area. A welcoming private tropical -style garden is situated in front of the house, out of view of passersby.
Exposed ocher coloured stone walls give added charm to the interior.
A private secured garage is attached to the house, which is a plus for parking. This is a perfect base from which to explore Bordeaux and its region.
A spacious living room is tastefully decorated and furnished with high quality family furniture.
Two bedrooms overlook a small interior garden area-1st bedroom: one double bed 1m60X2m, 2nd bedroom: two single beds 90cmX1m90, fitted with quality bed-linen.
Fully equipped kitchen including an american style refrigerator, Nespresso machine etc...
The bathroom is fitted with a spa-type bathtub as well a spacious italian style shower. Two separate toilets.

WIFI internet, TV with foreign channels are available.

Shops and amenities are within walking distance; bakeries, grocers, chemist, restaurants, bank, post-office etc...
The tram A station (Hopital Pellegrin) is only 300 meters walk from the house and bus-stops are close by.

Excellent séjour dans une maison idealment placee et tres bien equipee. L'accueil a ete super egalement.Nous avons passe un tres agreable sejour et recommendons sans reserve.Un garage est egalement tres utile compte tenu de la situation de parking limite dans bordeaux. A proximite du tram. Merci.

A lovely house in a quiet residential area .. tram just a 3 minute walk and yes it’s quite slow into town, but it’s better than driving, road traffic is awful. A few restaurants and shops in local area, plenty for immediate needs, but loads more in Bordeaux. Garage really handy if you have a hire car. TV for UK travellers not great so you may want to bring the IPad.. but it’s not an essential. Brigitte was very kind when she checked us in, providing juice and wine, a lovely touch. Would thoroughly recommend and stay again.

It was a true pleasure communicating with Brigitte. Her home was beautiful and very welcoming, you can see her pride as she walks you through the property. The location was perfect for us as we didn’t have a car but could easily walk to trams and buses. The kitchen was nicely stocked and we thoroughly enjoyed the exquisite Welcome Basket.

Alles war wie beschrieben und Brigitte war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir haben den Aufenthalt in dem Haus genossen - leider konnten die beiden Ventilatoren nur geringfügig die Hitze vertreiben, die zu dieser Zeit in Bordeaux herrschte. Die Ausstattung der Küche war phänomenal und alle Geräte auf dem neusten Stand. Die Garage war natürlich ebenfalls ein Highlight.

Bordeaux Delight!

Had a wonderful 5 night stay in this charming property with a lovely garden sitting area and garage. The property is a 3 minute walk to the TBM tram so we were able to leave the rental car in the garage for most of the stay. Brigette welcomed us at the property was a delightful and helpful resource during the stay. Highly recommended!

Very lovely home with nice yard area to enjoy just outside of historic Bordeaux area. Very easy access into Bordeaux via the tram (10 minutes). The home has everything you need and so comfortable and in a nice quiet area. Highly recommend staying here if you wish to have a quiet private space to relax after exploring Bordeaux and the surrounding area. The owner was a wonderful host and very helpful. Rick and Sharon.

Wonderful stay in a quiet neighborhood

We found Brigitte’s place very comfortable. There are many food shops, the tram and a pharmacy within a short walk. The apartment is well appointed and feels like a second home. Brigitte was very attentive and responded quickly to communications. The apartment is about a 40-50 minute walk into the center of the city. We look forward to returning to this place in the near future.

Bordeaux gem

Charming and roomy in a great neighborhood. Everything was above our expectations and a convenient location for catching the tram to downtown Bordeaux.(If you're flying in from the Bordeaux airport its convenient to take the A tram to the Hopital Pellegrin stop) We had 33 C + (90 F) temperatures and the place still stayed comfortable. Brigitte was a wonderful host!

Perfekt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung und in Bordeaux

Wir haben unseren Urlaub hier sehr genossen. Brigitte, die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Kommunikation funktionierte perfekt. Hervorzuheben ist der leckere Wein, den wir von Brigitte bekommen haben. Das Appartement ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, genügend Platz und ein toller Garten, um das Frühstück zu geniessen. Die Lage ist perfekt, eine sehr gute Anbindung an den Nahverkehr, die überaus praktische Garage für unser Auto und trotz der zentralen Lage ein sehr ruhiger Ort. Um die Ecke gibt es Bäcker, einen Gemüseladen und auch einen kleinen Supermarkt.

this property is in a quiet neighbourhood with excellent tram links to the centre of Bordeaux and the airport , Brigitte was very helpful and met us at the tram stop which is less than a 5 minute walk away, we found that the property is well described on the website... we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend it

A lovely place to stay

This is a truly lovely place to stay. The house is delightful, furnished and decorated in the French style. It is very comfortable and had everything we needed for out stay. We had hot weather for our visit and it was very welcome to escape to a naturally cool house. Location is another plus: this is a pleasant area and convenient for exploring the city centre by tram. We received a very warm welcome from Brigitte who took some time to tell us about the house, and also about the best areas to explore. She remained in contact with us throughout and we thank her most warmly for her hospitality. We recommend her charming house without reservation.

Great Base for Exploring Bordeaux

We had a fabulous stay at Brigitte's lovely house. Very comfortable for four adults. Conveniently situated for the airport and great that there was a garage for our hire car. The local area has a couple of small supermarkets, a deli and a boulangerie that had everything we needed. The local restaurants were closed unfortunately for annual holidays (congés) during the week we visited, but there were so many to choose from in Bordeaux centre and the tram into the city is very convenient. We visited in mid August and it was a bit hot for us towards the end of the week at 35 degrees! Still, we loved our stay and would return. Thank you so much Brigitte

Wonderful place!

The hostesses was absolutely fantastic! The house was lovely and the garden was beautiful! The house was very comfortable,clean and everything that was needed to cook and wash clothes was provided! We had a wonderful stay at this rental home in Bordeaux. The location was fantastic, close to a tram with only a 15-20 minute ride to centre of Bordeaux. The home was well stocked with all the amenities, communication with the owner was excellent, she provided many extras including English books on attractions in the area. The home was even better than the pictures revealed on the website. We would definitely stay here again.

Komplett ausgestattet mit Kühlschrank inkl. Eiswürfel-Maker, Wasch- und Spülmaschine; sehr schöner, kleiner Garten mit Sichtschutz/Einfriedung zur Straße und genug Sitzmöglichkeiten; einziger Makel: fehlende Klimaanlage, die bei 14 Tagen über 30° dringend benötigt worden wäre; soll aber wohl nachgerüstet werden; ca. 5 Minuten Fußweg zur Tramhaltestelle, anschließend ca. 15 Minuten mit der Tram bis ins Zentrum; Bäcker, Fleischer und Obst/Gemüsehändler fußläufig in 10 Minuten erreichbar; in 60-80 Minuten mit dem Auto zu den Atlantikstränden (Lacanau-Ocean, Cap Ferret, Carcans-Plage)

Lovely stay in BORDEAUX

The host, Bridgette is terrific. She met us at the property, gave us a thorough explanation of her home, the appliances and the neighborhood. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. It is about 1.7km from the city center which necessitates a tram ride to the city from the stop that is close to the house. You should know that there are very few taxis or Ubers around Bordeaux so public transportation (bus or tram is a must). The only downside of the property is that it is not air conditioned. Otherwise it is a lovely, well equipped residence with the best host that we have encountered on our trip so far.
