"Hotel is beautiful. De personeel zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Privestrandje heerlijk op loopafstand van ong 30 meter. Het eten is prima en heerlijk. Juist niet grote bufffet maar voldoende. Himmafushi is een prachtig bevolkte eiland waar je kan zien hoe de Maldivische cultuur is. Groot verschil met eilanden/atollen waar alleen resort is. Daar houden wij ervan. "This was our first time in the Maldives and it exceeded our expectations. It was absolutely amazing. We paid extra to have a pool at our bungalow but the resort does have its own pool where we found ourselves most times so I would say it’s definitely not needed to have your own pool but it is nice to have one. "The Baros Island is beautiful and has an amazing house reef, with plenty of sharks, turtles, rays and an amazing array of beautiful fish. The resort in parts is a little tired and but the management are on the case. The food and service were first class and made for an delightful two weeks. Why go to the fancy resorts on remote islands where you will be trapped and not able to experiencfe the local culture and hospitality, when you can stay right in the middle of the city at this place. The hotel offers adventure day trips too, so you can even pay extra and go to the resorts for a pool day trip, snorkling or other water sport activies, so theres no need to book a long trip to the resorts. "The deluxe two bedroom apartment was very clean and well-equipped. Very well-located for the airport, and steps away from the beach and shops / restaurants. Staff were very helpful (proactively contacted our onward resort before we even arrived, and arranged return transfer to airport accordingly).
