"Lovely comfortable and clean rooms. The breakfast was great and the staff were all really friendly, informative and welcoming. Feel it is a little overpriced but Pitlochry itself is pretty pricey. It is a steep walk back up the hill from Pitlochry if you have walking difficulties. We would probably stay again though. "

"The location was fabulous and the garden was a joy. The house was okay but would have benefited from the owners having been less defensive and having acted upon issues already raised by previous reviewers e.g. the mattresses/pillows were very uncomfortable, the tap in the upstairs toilet is very stiff and difficult to turn on or regulate the temperature, especially cold (even the caretaker couldn't sort out). "The hotel is well situated just outside Pitlochry. The area is quiet. The parking is convenient. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit cramped for 2 people and 2 suitcases. Both room and bathroom are clean. It is fine for one night. Breakfast id fine. It takes 15 minutes or less to walk down to the town centre but 20 minutes to go back up to the hotel which is on a hill. There are lots of paying car parks in the town. The Cidsin Bistro is excellent and serves very well...
