Cabaña de la familia hermosa en una excelente ubicación que está a menos de 5 minutos en coche del centro de la Villa, pistas de esquí, alpino diapositivas y el lago. Esta cabina de un solo nivel cuenta con 3 dormitorios, 2 baños completos y todo lo que pueda necesitar para una estancia maravillosa y relajante en Big Bear Lake. El interior está decorado con una decoración nostálgica y memorabilia de esquí, los primeros recuerdos de sus propias vacaciones familiares infancia. Hay hermosos pisos de madera, techos altos con vigas de madera y una cocina personalizada totalmente equipada con granito, pizarra y acero inoxidable. Leaking water heater, toilet in guest restroom ran all night, plumber showed up unannounced, beds were uncomfortable, no bedroom lamps, and no trash cans to discard your trash as requested by owner.

I wanted to share some feedback on my recent stay at the cabin. The location was wonderful, situated in a beautiful neighborhood. We particularly enjoyed the fireplace, and we appreciated how clean the kitchen and bathrooms were.There were a few things that could have improved our experience. The pathway made unloading luggage difficult as it wasn't possible to park close to the house. Replacing the rock path with concrete would allow suitcases to be rolled instead of having to be dragged. Additionally, the beds were not very comfortable due to the cheap and old mattresses. Having more towels available would also have been beneficial.Finally, the trash disposal was a bit inconvenient. Having to drive 5 to 8 minutes to throw away garbage felt like a chore during our vacation. On-site garbage disposal, like the trash cans we saw at neighboring properties, would have been much more convenient.Thank you for the opportunity to provide this feedback

The cabin was cute and clean. The water heater wasn't working when we got there so we took cold showers. I reset it and it was hot later that evening. The check-in process wasn't great. There's a neighborhood policy to be signed that I had to ask for multiple times and there were big delays in the responses. You have to take your trash to the dump yourself, which you will read in the neighborhood policy, which you will be given after you pay for your stay and may not be allowed to cancel. There was no shampoo, conditioner or body wash in the bathrooms. We left a conditioning shampoo when we left. The queen bed was super squeaky and springy. The full size bed was noisy but felt okay.

The cabin was very nice and super clean. The garage is right in front. It is a bit of a walk from the house, but its not bad. The owner will answer your call if you have any issues. She had to send the good neighbors agreement on their rules and clean up. If you do not get the check in instructions, just give her a call and she'll answer. I will say the master bedroom is the coldest because its so far in the back, but give it a few hours and it will be fine. Our twin daughters were obsessed with their teddy bears 🐻. The cabin is nicely decorated too, and good internet. The shower have great temperature! The beds were very comfy especially the extra blankets. We'd definitely recommend staying there again.

Warm and welcoming, charming cottage, wonderful decorations throughout, great bathrooms. But several comfort items missing: bedside lamps, Kleenex boxes, Glassware for 5?? We were just 2 and had only one reasonable glass. 2 hangers for 2 women? TV instructions necessary, maybe placemats for the table? Housekeeper should report problems: broken headboard, sheets torn, coverlet torn, broken light under Microwave (cooking in the dark). Worst of all: trash can has no lid! Yuckee!! Dragging your luggage across 75 feet of course gravel was no fun, you can't pull the car up to the front steps. Location and quiet neighborhood were enjoyable, and we were lucky with wonderful Fall weather.

The host are perfect, we have some problem with the battery of the heater, but once I say that to the Host, she immediatly send someone to replace it immediatly, which is highly appreciate, above all, because I have my Grand Daughter.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cozy cabin! Location was excellent and only minutes to the village and snow tubing! The gas fire place was a nice bonus and not expected! We would definitely come back again!

We arrived on a Sunday for 7 nights. As described by the owner, this charming cabin is conveniently located within a short drive of the lake and the village, and close by many great hiking trails. We appreciated the quiet and open space view of the front yard, while relaxing on the front deck’s chairs. As one steps inside the cabin, it feels like entering in a chalet of the Swiss Alps; it is nicely decorated with rustic design furniture and lots of antique memorabilia. Wifi and TV’s work great, the kitchen is well equipped, and the 2 bathrooms were very clean. It would have been a perfect family vacation time if the cabin had been furnished with a newer bed in the master bedroom. The mattress was so uncomfortable on our back, that we ended up placing the comforter and blanket under the bedsheet to pad the saggy mattress, and to avoid rubbing against the hard and squeaky springs. We also found the foot board wiggling with loose screws upon arrival. If you are used to comfy bed linen, I strongly suggest to bring your own own comforter and pillows, as we usually do. After bringing this issue to the owner attention, she assured us she will take care of this matter. We will be more than pleased to book a future gateway with our dog and family if the bed gets replaced in the master bedroom.

Great little cabin. Neighbors noisy on weekend with loud music but thankfully just one evening. Host very good and very responsive. Check in a little wonky as property mgr did not show at appointed time and had to call and then received info via text. TV system had no instructions and 3 remotes but we figured it out so we could watch weather and news. Would recommend it highly to others.

We arrived Monday evening and got settled in. The cabin had everything we needed to cook a nice dinner that evening and a coffee maker to make coffee in the morning. We rode snow summit Tuesday and made a great meal in the kitchen in the cabin that evening. We retired to our bedrooms that evening and woke up to an insane amount of snow! After shoveling out the truck from the driveway, we headed back up to snow summit for an awesome day of riding. It was the best I’ve ever seen the snow up there and I’ve been going to big bear and summit for 20+ years! Anyway, we extended our stay until Friday morning due to the snow being so great. The cabin was perfect for us, our dogs and our friends. Thanks Kari!!!

Great trip with my little family. Perfect size home in a great location, close to shops and the village and a mile from snow summit . Home has everything you would need to make yourself feel right at home, big yard perfect for snow play for kids and making snowmen. Great selection of movies on demand and a very warm fireplace. Highly recommend this property, would definitely stay again. Thanks Kari for a great stay!

We had a great time, the cabin is very cozy and nicely decorated. Super short drive or walk to the main shopping areas and it was secluded enough away from it all to feel private. The heat works really really well, so we had to keep the master bedroom door open or it became a sauna. The fireplace in the living room as well is very strong and we could only have it on for short bits to enjoy the fire or it got too hot. The master bed is very squeaky but otherwise comfortable. The owners are great communicators and it was easy to get in touch for a few questions when we needed to and they are extremely nice and polite.
