"Aparthotel Castelnou is a delightful place to stay. The apartment was spacious and spotless and had everything you could possibly need. Staff were so helpful, attentive and friendly, including advice on the best way to walk into the city centre. Dinner was amazing and there is a very pleasant small garden for eating outside. I'd thoroughly recommend this as a great place to stay."

"It has no AC but knowing that they get high temps over a few days and only providing 1 broken fan for 4 ppl in the suite was not acceptable. Bathroom tiles had dust on them from the vent, the vent was full of dust and I guess part of the fluff spread to the tiles. Front desk one person and a queue of guests. Yes they offer self check-in but that system was horrible and constantly showed errors when trying to write the key cards. A good hotel has personal and doesn’t cheap out and cut personell....

"An excellent apartment both in location and cleanliness. A small but very useful kitchen and good sized refrigerator made the stay very easy. Ghent is a city undergoing a lot of building and street rehabilitation so be prepared for the early morning construction sounds. However, the apartment is pretty quiet. A great choice."
