"This is the most perfect place for getting away to unwind. For those wanting peace and quiet, but not far to travel, visiting historical towns and picturesque villages. Lots of nice pubs for food and drink. The cottage is extremely well equipped and spotless. It is everything you see in the photos. Just wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you."

"We stayed for 5 days with 3 young children and had a fantastic time. The house is very clean, excellent facilities/ appliances, lovely lay out and great gardens/ separate play room. Caroline is a fantastic host, so helpful and quick to respond. We’ll be back!"

"It is rare the Experience of staying at a holiday location works out as well as expectation of a group built up by the online marketing page. I’m pleased to say that didn’t happen here, in fact the only potential issue in advance was the parking as we had 3 cars. Even this didn’t present an issue. Excellent facilities and base, one very minor issue was the need to drink Guinness from a wine glass due to the lack of a pint glass on site, as I say very minor issue."

"My husband and I loved our stay in the barn. We just wish it was longer! Lisa was so kind and welcoming and the breakfast items she left us were perfect. Everything was as advertised and was even better in person. The barn was very clean with ample supplies and the garden was perfect to admire. Spring was definitely in bloom! Since we only had 2.5 days, we definitely plan on coming back. The location was great and we loved being able to walk less than 5 minutes to a nice restaurant. There...

"The house was lovely and really easy to walk not the town centre. Information from the host both before our stay and the welcome info when we arrived was really useful. They have thought of everything even down to leaving condiments etc in the kitchen. The kitchen was very well equipped, you don’t need to take anything with you except your food! Bathrooms were clean and again, supplies were provided. Couldn’t fault it."

"We rented this house for my daughter's hen weekend the house was stunning in an amazing location with great facilities. We could not find fault with the house it accommodated 20 of us amply. All types of celebrations are catered for here from a formal dinner, to a party to a film night and even quiet relaxation in the pool and hot tub. "Nigel was very accommodating n friendly. The place was clean n comfortable, our two golden retrievers were made very welcome. The pub was close but not noisy. "We spent 2 nights at the monastery barn and we had a great time. Communication with the property manager was fantastic. They were very generous hosts. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the conservatory and in the enclosed garden were we able to let our dog explore without any concerns!"

"This property has been renovated to a great standard and there was plenty of space for our party of four adults, each having their own bed. A couple of recommendations to the host - a few coat hooks behind the front door would be very welcome, and some more hangers in each of the wardrobes. Other than that, we found everything we needed and had a fabulous weekend. We would stay again, and recommend to others.
