"The whole place has a vintage theme, from the lobby to the rooms which gives it so much charm. The location is great, just outside the Old City, so it’s quiet at night but still close enough to walk to everything easily. The only thing to note is that there’s no elevator, so you’ll need to carry your luggage up the stairs."

""I stayed at this beautiful property for 2 nights with my family, and it was the perfect introduction to our very first trip to Chiang Mai! The location is absolutely awesome—peaceful and serene, yet incredibly convenient. We fell in love with the charming retro feel of the place; it has so much character.
What truly made our stay special was the hospitality. The host was fantastic, and the lovely ladies at the property went above and beyond to help us with all of our questions as first-time...

"L'hôtel était parfait, bien situé, propre, le personnel était courtois et avenant.
Nous avons eu une chambre de 12 places, très grande, mais les douches étaient désuètes et fonctionnaient partiellement.
Le seul autre bémol est le fait qu'on nous vend beaucoup d'excursions avec compagnie (beaucoup plus chers que si on y va pas nos propres moyens).
Le déjeuner est excellent, mi-anglais, mi-thailandais et change à chaque matin.
Je recommande cet hôtel sans hésitation."

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tamarind Village for so many reasons: a beautiful lush setting, wonderful friendly staff, and delicious authentic meals. Our room was clean, quiet, and close to the hotel’s amenities, their restaurant, pool, spa, and shop. It was also located perfectly inside the OLD City making walking easily accessible to much the city has to offer. Having stayed in Bangkok for the first part of our vacation, we didn’t feel we really experienced the richness...

Check in staff where super friendly and helpful and where able torecommend and book a elephant sanctury tour for me.

"When I arrived I had just left another hotel that looked good on line but it wasn’t what I expected so I looked around and found Thapae Twins. What a good choice. Everyone was very helpfull but New and Nam Whan were over the top with helping get to places I was looking for. I will stay again."
