"Across the street there’s a market where you can buy food for your stay. I was told that each unit had its own kitchenette because the building used to be an apartment building converted to a hotel. Was very convenient. If you’d like to have a cocktail there is also a liquor store right next-door and a nice restaurant. We stayed because we were attending any event at the Beacon theater. Very convenient! I did have to park my car two blocks up at the champion parking lot ended up being around...

My wife and I stayed for one evening for our wedding anniversary and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast is exceptional, too. Spending money at The Pierre is well worth it. "This was an excellent stay! Anytime I’m going to New York, I will be staying here. The place is so clean, very secure (three locks on the door). The staff was consistently helpful. And the $10 coupon that they gave you for breakfast is quite substantive because the café has delicious food that will fit the budget. I had quiches that were $10, or sandwiches that were $10. Haven’t seen that kind of price in the upper west side in New York. I really enjoyed my stay."

It was in a great location for everything we wanted to do in the area and when we needed to get to lower Manhattan it only took a few minutes to get an Uber. Only slight issues were the hot water in the shower was a bit inconsistent depending on time in the morning or evening. And the air conditioning was not as strong - it was preset at 65 but usually read to be actually @ 73 or 74 which was quite warm and stuffy with 4 people in the room and...
