"Clean rooms, excellent staff and excellent beach spot."

"Lovely clean hotel, close to the beach and centre of old town. Yara Costa and other staff at the hotel were wonderful and so pleasant. Only thing I would say is that if you’re a light sleeper then this isn’t a hotel for you, the bars are quite loud and until early hours of the morning. But the hotel can not be faulted, very clean and a comfortable."

"The Vila Gale Cerro has everything that you would need at a resort hotel. We were able to enjoy the pool area which had food and drink options throughout the day. Pool was a bit cool but refreshing and large - perfect for a hot day. We had no problem finding pool loungers in the middle of the afternoon - plenty of space. "The lobby area and room were spotless. Everything looked newly renovated and the design was exceptional. The room was small but had a large and beautiful bathroom. We also appreciated having the small refrigerator. The only thing lacking for me was a kettle. The location was very quiet as we were in the back on the ground floor.
