My only recommendation is that if you are unable to walk up stairs with your luggage you need to communicate that fact in advance. My daughter and I dragged our luggage upstairs. "Hot tub wasn't working. Both pool and hot tub water looked cloudy. Fan in the bathroom wasn't working. Refrigerator in the room wasn't working. Hair was stuck to the towel next to the sink."

"This is not a 4 star property by any means. It’s a little run down, overpriced, very basic room, good enough to shower and sleep. It’s located at the edge of the plaza district, very nice part of town, easy drive to downtown and other districts. Self parking in the garage was easy enough, $30/day."

"I last stayed here three years ago and thought it was great to come back and see all the new updates and I can’t complain! We forgot a toothbrush and the front desk gave us some, the breakfast is decent for a hotel, and valet is very convenient. This will be our go to hotel when visiting KC."

"It was a very fun place to stay! You walk past a vibrant bar on the way to check in. Our room wasn't ready. But, we were able to leave our bags since we had somewhere to be. Our bags were in our room when we returned, The room was spacious, updated and clean. There was a stocked mini fridge. But, left room for our own drinks/food if we wanted to add our own items. There were many restaurants & bars nearby. There is a rooftop cinema about a block away. No driving or ride sharing needed for that....

"Proximity to shopping and dining was excellent. Room was clean but hotel is showing its age. The parking garage is dimly lit. Weather was warm but pool was drained. Breakfast buffet was good but we were served water in a glass that had lipstick on it, which was a bit unsettling considering it wasn't busy."

"Allowed us to check in early. Staff were all amazing. Room was clean. Only issue was that the room smelled like marijuana so bad it gave us a headache. It dissipated after awhile, but wasn’t the best smell walking into the room for the first time. Everything else was fantastic! I’d stay here again."
