When fixes are done, a customer can tell that they were done quickly and most likely by a staff who may not know what a customer probably notices."

"This property is in terrible condition! Our first room was so dirty and we had to get a staff to bring scotch tape to hold the dresser drawers to stay shut. Lamp was broken! Staff was foreign and didn’t understand English very well at all! We ended up having staff move us to a different room that was a little better! Overall don’t stay there "

"The breakfast if you could even call it that was underwhelming. It consisted of only oatmeal and muffins, and the coffee was weak and watered down. The beds were uncomfortable, and the carpet was torn up in spots, which was a problem since I kept stepping on the exposed tack strips meant to hold it down. "Had to wait till 6pm to check into a room with only 1 bed when I reserved a room with 2 beds. No smoke detector, no hot water, no soap, plugs didn’t work properly. Blinds barely closed. The room was “clean” as it seemed like it was just finished being half remodeled."

"A good economical option in South Bend. Very convenient for a quick drive to Notre Dame. Rooms have been refurbished and are nice. Lighting in rooms could improve as the windows are smaller and rooms dark. The white light makes it somewhat brighter but cold light is not that welcoming. Would stay here again"

"We went for our son Notre dame graduation and everything was wonderfull ,so close to ND, clean,variety of restaurant around it,culver's(delicious hamburgers) in the property,they put a GRAD background for photos and a table with snacks for grab them,lot of choices for breakfast,safe neighborhood"

"Way better than expected. Prices throughout University of Notre Dame area were inflated due to graduation. Booked this hotel as affordable option with low expectations. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, had iron and board which we needed. No frills, but quite suitable for our needs. Very close to Notre Dame and many food options nearby. We ended up staying there for 6 days with no problems encountered."

"Unconventional because no front desk however communication on checking in, parking, building and room entry were great. Clean rooms with a keurig coffee machine. Short walk to a cute little downtown. Would stay again for sure."
