The lighting is very dark when you walk into this hotel, but the ambience is actually rather good. Bar and restaurant areas were well laid out. Food was good. Room was very clean, comfortable, and a good size. Location is great if you are passing by Edinburgh.

Staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Service at times a little slow, but belueve they were a little understaffed. They are in an excellent location for public transportation to down town Edinburgh.
