"My wife and I enjoyed our stay here! The room is basic but equipped with all the essentials (private entrance, private bathroom, kitchen sink, and fridge). It’s perfect for use as a home base while spending your days out and about. It is very close to a bus stop, about a 4 min walk, which gives easy connection to the rest of the city. The family is very quiet and we were not disturbed at all during our stay. "

"Alison’s home was comfortable and fully equipped, we were delighted by the view and the proximity to our event venues in Stirling. "The cottage was clean and according to description. The kids loved the backyard with the higlander cows and we loved watching the sunset over de forth bridges. Perfect location to visit Hopetoun house, Royal yacht brittanica and all the sights in Edinburgh. The cottage had everything we needed. Our only point to note is that the fridge and tv were very small but we made it work. Would totally recommend and stay again if we are in the area."

"This property meet our needs for 7 family members. The area was quiet even though it was not a detached home. The one criticism is that the property could use some basic TLC, paint touchups and towel and toilet paper holders in the bathrooms. It was well stocked with cleaning supplies and towels."

"I can’t put into words how stunning this place is! The host had the place all decorated for Christmas since we were there for the festivities which was great as we had a little one with us. The house is very spacious and was spotless! Only bit of feedback I have is that the kitchen utensils could be doing with an update. I was cooking christmas dinner which was a bit harder as there was no working potato peeler and there was not a small knife to use, only large ones. There was also no whisk but...

"We had wonderful time in the Elaine and John’s cottage. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. Always available for questions. They are helping us for directions, train, visiting and all we asked for. 30 minutes to Glasgow by train. Very well located, easy access. I highly recommand. Very great stay"

"Apartment was just as advertised, was clean and comfortable, and located in a nice, quiet neighbourhood with easy access (~12 min drive) to EDI. Owner was responsive and very kind. My husband left an item behind, and the owner was quick to let us know it had been found and arrange to get it back to us. Would definitely recommend this apartment."
