The breakfast was good the next day and in hindsight, we should have had dinner here as it all looked home made and reasonably priced. "The Angel has a convenient location for exploring Cardiff. It feels like stepping into the opulence of yesteryear. The room itself was well appointed, albeit small. I booked a single room, and was surprised to have a double bed. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was prepared for the heat wave with a fan already placed in the room upon my arrival."

"Arrived quite late but reception was very friendly and booking in was easy. Nice sized room and bathroom. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Drinks and biscuits were provided. Very handy location for carpark (NCP) and a short walk to the stadium/castle/city centre. Checking out was easy and quick. We were even given a take away breakfast box. Thank you to Mina and all the team. We will definitely stay again."

"So close but quiet at night to city center castle , river and more and very close to train and bus station. Compact but efficient , would skip the breakfast as a Weatherspoon is across the street w better value. Engaged staff even threaded a needle for me to put on a button."
