"I’d definitely recommend the hotel. The keyless entry didn’t initially work, but the communication with the owner was quick and a new code was sent within minutes. The rooms were lovely and there was a good variety of teas and coffees available. I was worried not having check in would mean that the owners weren’t around, but they did help us figure out how to turn the air conditioning off. The location was fantastic and it wasn’t noisy in the rooms. "

"Beautifully furnished and quiet, very spacious room. Lisa is a consummate host and went to loads of trouble decorating the breakfast room to celebrate Easter. The breakfasts are fantastic too. There were only two small downsides: there is an electric charge point for EV's, but it obviously isn't used much and Lisa wasn't sure how to make it work. We managed about an hour's charge and had to go and find a charging point in town and sit in the car while that happened. It would have been perfect if...

"Overall a lovely stay. The only negative was the set-up of the bathroom - the shower was open and we found that the water accumulated to the point of flooding the whole bathroom floor, and carpeting outside of the bathroom ( there was a floor squeegee to push the water towards the drain), the sink was very, very small and there was nowhere to put toiletries. "The best place to stay in Canterbury with breathtaking views of the Cathedral. The hotel is a nice place, very clean and a delicious breakfast. On the downsize the rooms are very small, mostly the Queen bed compared to American standard. The staff is helpfull but don't seem very profesional. Looks like they are on a learning capacity. "
