"This hotel is right in the heart of Waikiki, centrally located to shopping, restaurants, and 3 min walk to the beach. The rooms were very clean, I liked that every morning the cleaning staff didn't come so early! We'd be gone by 10am close to 11am and they are just hitting our floor. We stood on the 17th floor. But it was great, not having them knocking waking you up or feeling rushed. My only 2 complaints, the staff really didn't do much to control the kids running around the pool/spa area....

"The breakfast/gathering area smelled and the floor could use a good cleaning. The food was repetitive and not that great. The only item I looked forward to was the fresh fruit. My room smelled musty and damp. The room was run down, bed was uncomfortable. We watched the pool staff and were impressed with the care given to the pool. Maybe I missed it, but the resort fee was steep and came as a surprise. Not sure what $376 covered. Staff was exceptionally kind and pleasant in the dining...
