"We stayed here as a family. There were quite a few young people staying here, possibly students. They were sometimes quite noisy, and we could hear groups chatting loudly in the corridors, occasionally playing music on speakers. It was fine for a short stay, but the place seemed more like a student house, which made us feel a little uncomfortable as a family."

"The location is ideal. We found everything walkable. If you're a good walker you can get to City of Arts and Science through the park. Beautiful walk. Because it's in the heart of tourist area be sure to request interior room if noise bothers you. We loved having the balconies and slept soundly, but one of our party didn't. I would stay here again. The breakfast was well worth the 10 euros per person."

"Excellent location, safe access to the property, Great common areas. Handy self service laundry facilities"

"Great location, amazing staff."

"I fell in the slippery shower!!!"

"Great location and I enjoyed the little balcony. The restaurant near the hotel was quiet by around 10pm, so this was never an inconvenience."

"Jai passer un très beau séjour ici"

"I really liked the fact that for an apartment there was 24 hour reception. So we just turned up like a hotel, got key card and that was us sorted for a week. No trying to arrange a meeting with a host who doesn't really speak English or battling with keybox combination. The apartment was spacious and modern. Large bathroom, good sized bedrooms. Although we were on the ninth floor of course there is a lift so that wasn't a problem. Any reservations? I would only have two. If you want a character...

"There was nothing we didn't like, hotel was clean, very good breakfast, and all the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the young Japanese girl who was on reception, she is most definitely an asset to the Hotel Villacarlos,we would definitely stay there again"

"The property is well located just next to the city center. It sits on a residential neighborhood with a variety of places to eat. Walking to the center of the city is less than 20 minutes. The property itself is well kept with comfortable rooms and an excellent staff."
