"Wonderful, relaxing getaway by the river is what we needed! Beautiful, cozy cabin with updated bath and kitchen had all the conveniences to make it enjoyable. Spent a chunk of time on the expansive deck watching (and hearing) the river flow by. Remote but convenient to town. Nice! Will plan to stay again. "

"Our small family of 3 stayed here as a landing spot for a few days skiing at Mt. Hood. We really enjoyed the cabin - it is a simple cabin but was clean and tastefully decorated/maintained. Beds and supplies were fine - as expected for a rental that has regular visitors. Extra blankets were great as it was cold at night (and we don't like to sleep with the heat going). "Cabin was perfect for the three of us. A well equipped kitchen, bathrooms on each floor, plenty of towels and a laundry area (shared with downstairs bathroom) made for extra convenience! Our bed was nice & firm and our son said the twin beds were firm as well. Didn't use the loft bed, but used a pillow from it. (NOTE: You might want to bring an extra pillow or two as we didnt see any extras in the closets) The uncovered hot tub on the deck overlooking the river was great and made special when...

Saw a coyote, plenty of birds, and bats that came out at dusk.The only thing we wished was available, were larger coffee mugs, but the house was otherwise really well equipped with everything we could need. Enjoyed playing music, and building puzzles and playing games we found in the closet."

"We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully appointed home. Lots of fun things to do at the house, down at the easily accessed river, and on nearby trails and recteation areas. We would stay again."

"Ian’s cabin was an excellent place to stay near Mount Hood! The cabin was a perfect and peaceful place with everything we needed. Ian also had several recommendations for hikes and restaurants in his guest book that were perfect to go check out. Highly recommend but will note for those that may not notice in the listing there is no WiFi and very little to no cell signal. "

"The Eagle’s Perch was a wonderful space for a relaxing weekend. We found the beds comfortable, the kitchen well-supplied, and the house welcoming; the backyard and balcony seating, hot tub, and river access were major perks. We did quite a bit of cooking; the kitchen came stocked with cookware but not much in the way of staples; we ended up buying and leaving salt, pepper, sugar, olive oil, coffee, etc. We were there during a hot spell and appreciated the central air conditioning, though the...

"Amazing location! The ONLY warning… bring your own pillow and coffee filters. The pillows were rough and there are no coffee filters. Everything else was fantastic!!"

"Overall very clean. Cobwebs on the lamp. The small bed is very uncomfortable. A soft topper would take care of that problem. Master bed is awesome!! Great stove and refrigerator!
