"Pros:Very relaxing place to rest, mediate, cook and sleep with the sounds of the river and nature.Cons:The septic system its in need of urgent repairs. Toilets wont flush properly. The trophies on the walls are smelly and sad to look at.I would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family."

"Had a great time at the cabin and made a great home base for sledding at snow bunny! Clean and well stocked! I was worried about loft for kids but it’s bigger than photos look so we didn’t have any concerns/issues with them sleeping and playing up there. We will be back!"

"Stayed here for our 16 year anniversary. I loved how spacious the house was. The beautiful view of the river from the deck and the hot tub was nice too! I loved the retro vibe with old style radio and awesome record collection. Enjoyed sitting on the Adirondack chairs over looking the river. We would love to come back to stay again in the future."

"Cabin was perfect for the three of us. A well equipped kitchen, bathrooms on each floor, plenty of towels and a laundry area (shared with downstairs bathroom) made for extra convenience! Our bed was nice & firm and our son said the twin beds were firm as well. Didn't use the loft bed, but used a pillow from it. (NOTE: You might want to bring an extra pillow or two as we didnt see any extras in the closets) The uncovered hot tub on the deck overlooking the river was great and made special when...

"Wow, we loved this place! Such a cozy cabin with sweet touches. We particularly enjoyed sitting by the fire and utilizing the sauna stepsaway, having pizza on the clean porch, and settling into the master which felt like we were sitting in the trees. We had such a relaxing, serene experience! "

"The property is nestled nicely in a forested neighborhood. It was just as the pictures depicted. The only negative thing I can say is that the master bedroom bed had a bit of outdoor debris on it and in between the sheets. There was extra sheets and that was fixed quickly. It is close to many area and activities. Overall it was a good stay!"

"In a small cluster of homes. Neighbors are quiet. Woods setting is lovely and a very short drive to Salmon River trailhead. Beds need upgrading but otherwise very unpretentious and cozy."

"Absolutely adored this place, we could not have been more pleased. Walking distance to a dog friendly coffee shop, Fernies, suspension bridge over a river, roaring river sounds in the hot tub, mountain air with a 100% true cabin experience. Lots of space for 5 adults, 13 and 3 year old. Very quiet road as well. Short driving distance to Lake Trillium and Mt. Hood. "Lavishing in a hot tub deep in the forest alongside a clear, rushing river, flourishing rhododendron, and other flowers was the epitome of "forest bathing." It was cool, cloudy, and rainy during our stay, and we didn't care! Hot-tubbing in the rain is an exquisite experience. The home was just rustic enough to be an authentic cabin in the forest.
