"The hotel was super clean, all staff incredibly friendly and helpful. There is a bus station near by to take you into the city. Breakfast every morning with a personal chef to cook whatever you desire. The food was delicious and accommodating. "

"Our room was adequate, however the bathroom sink was blocked and wouldn’t drain, with dirt and hair coming up from the pipe. We had to ask the staff to sort it twice before it was actioned. The bins weren’t emptied for the three days that we stayed there. On the plus side we ate in the restaurant and the food was plentiful and tasted great. The hotel is in a great location situated right opposite the railway station with regular trains into Zirmatt."

"Nicer and clean"

"This stopover was part of our European road trip, so stayed at 5 other hotels along the way. Room & shower facilities were nice and we managed to watch England play on the TV where other hotels did not have British channels. The only disappointing factor was that our room overlooked the staff car parking, the bins and smokers which wasn't very pleasant. Informed reception who accepted our feedback and would make improvements. Other than this, lovely hotel/restaurant."

"Very pleasant stay. Clean room and helpful staff (although available hours were limited to check-in and check-out times). Great location close to train station, Gornergrat Railway, and the main street. We could see the Matterhorn from our window. We appreciated the shared amenities, from well-equipped kitchen and canteen area to luggage storage we used before check-in to laundry (for a small fee)."

"I liked the location a lot. The hotel was close to nice old town and in walking distance to train and bus station, from where it was very convenient to reach various interesting places. However, the staff was not very helpful in providing information and it was strange one did not know where a bus stop for number 631was. Also, I was very disappointed that there was no ability to have tea or coffee outside breakfast hours."

"Good location, very friendly staffs, shuttle bus drivers are very helpful. Good breakfasts and good daily dinners menus. Nice balcony can watch Matthorn sunrise . Only a 3 minutes walk to the bridge for sunrise view. 5 minutes walk to Matthorn glacier paradise cable car station."
