"Had a great weekend at the house for a family get-together. Loved the firepit and covered gazebo with a stone fireplace. Such a wonderful place to have dinner on a cool evening. Booking was easy, communication with the owner was flawless, and the house was perfect for our group. Enough room to find some peace and quiet, yet small enough to make sure the whole family can spend time together.Thank you letting us use your property. It's definitely being added to my favorites."

"This is a perfect place for a large group to stay and not get bored! Lots of space inside and out. Super clean, and well maintained. The host replied to my messages super quick! Totally recommend this property!"

"A little slice of heaven, next door to the Promised Land. We were in the area to visit Pa. State Parks and stayed here two nights. My wife found Rex Hotel online and she really relies on the reviews of past guests. With this receiving so many positive ratings we went for it. The no contact check-in and out was new for us, but no issues arose at all. In fact, everything went so smoothly it would be nice if others used this method. "We had a great time staying at this beautiful property. We enjoyed all the amenities at the house, including the pool table, fire pit and the kids enjoyed the hot tub. It is just a quick walk across the street to the dock with access to the beautiful lake. It was a great perk that there were multiple kayaks and canoes to use during our stay as well. Communication with the host was great and he was very responsive to any questions I had prior to and during our stay. We would definitely stay...

"We stayed after a concert in the area and it was perfect weather so the stay was pleasant. We did not have a chance to utilize the fire pit or grill but everything was as expected"

"Wonderful stay, lovely house with lots of room space for a large family. The kids love the dock and boats and we try to fish as much as we can. Saw deer and bald eagle from the deck and played lots of ball in the front. No shortage of tissues, toilet paper, night lights, garbage bags and cleaning supplies. "

"The home was just as beautiful in person, it has everything you need for a week/weekend away. CJ was wonderful and so easy to communicate with. Out of all the homes in PA my family and I stayed, this by far is our absolute favorite. We didn’t want to leave, and looking forward to staying there again! "

The owner is very accommodating to your needs whether you are looking for something in the kitchen— blender, coffee maker, pancake mix, popcorn, or looking to enjoy being outside with three seating areas, a grill, a firepit, outdoor lighting and even kayaks. Wildlife included as well! Highly recommend!"

"Very quaint property. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen has more than enough supplies needed to live for a week! Dining room has a perfect view of the lake! The propane grill was nice to cook a burger a dog on which is all we needed! One of the best things we loved was the fire pit which looks out over the lake. We spent every night there with a fire and enjoyed watching the sunset!! We will be back!"
