"This home was perfect! So spacious. Very well stocked with everything you might need. We couldn’t locate an iron and a lovely lady delivered one to us. The location is centrally located between town/Short Sands and the Nubble lighthouse/Dunnes ice cream.We have been spending a weeks holidays in York for the past 20 years and this is by far our favorite home. "Before we stayed we asked a few questions about the property and learned that the listing is quite inaccurate and the company that manages it has absolutely no idea what is in the house. When we got there and had multiple problems (no hot water, the house had an intense kitty litter smell, the air conditioning barely worked and ALL the fans in the house were broken, the outdoor shower didn’t work, there was no hose to rinse any of our beach things off so sand got everywhere, even if there was a...

"Our overall stay was great, very clean , the only negative thing i could say was a little confusion on parking, we came through the restaurant parking lot as directed, parked ne t to the walkeay and steps to help my mom (94) get in the house, the restaurant owner asked me to move my car to another spot which was no big deal once i realized i had to go back out on the street to the neighbors driveway to get to where i was supposed to park, there is an area between the houses which looks like you...

"The place is actually nicer than the photos! Such a short walk to long sands beach. Cottage was well stocked with essentials—paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, towels, kitchen gear. The living area was very comfortable with many board games and books. The upstairs sitting area was a bonus with another tv . "Wow! Maine coastal living at its finest. Outdoor deck space on all three levels - basement, main, and 2nd floor. Our 2 year old could not stop asking to go outside on the decks. Outdoor and indoor dining areas, short bike ride or drive to Long Shore beach (or Short Shore) and very nice walkable/bikeable neighborhood. "Stayed in Maine for a family wedding and we rented this house for the stay. The views are unmatched. House is nice and large to fit multiple families comfortably. Easy walk to town and Nebble Light makes the house a great location. We had a wonderful weekend and didn’t want to leave the views!"
