Disappointing

Whilst the set up was good, the accommodations were filthy. Needs a deep clean. I had to buy a plastic sheet to cover up the stains on the couch. Cobwebs everywhere. Dirty floors, which even made the soles of my slippers dirty. Bathroom floor needs a proper clean, mould and filth on the base of the shower and sink. Filthy kitchen and bathroom curtains. Smoke from surrounding accommodations wood fire makes going outside to the porch impractical. I asked for fragrances to be removed yet the curtains had been sprayed with something which was so strong my own sleeping bag and pillows picked it up and I had to dispose of them for the rest of my trip. Cost me extra and made my stay unpleasant. Very disappointed.

Pet friendly as it gets

We stayed for 3 nights for our wedding escape, honestly quite a nice property though the listing isn’t as clear about how close the house and other cottage are to each other, it’s about a stones throw to either. The cottage is pretty, I like how many little touches there are to make it homely and how many things are provided. Unsure if it was because they were at the bottom of the rainwater tank or what but the spa bath when run, the water was light brown. Bed was comfy, dog yard was very secure and suitable though if your dog is a barker, they can see the lovely livestock guardian dogs so barking may ensue. 4/5, I’d stay there again.

Peaceful rest.

Staying here was amazing! So peaceful, and just what we needed after a hectic beginning to our year. Our cats and dog were welcomed and the care and consideration for both animals and humans was amazing. If we were passing through again, I would stay here without a doubt! They were fantastic hosts and great communicators. We will recommend to all our friends. Thank you so much for your well catered, friendly, kind and wonderfully clean accomodation! Wonderful place!

An amazing location for quick access to Mount Gambier. Bird life is amazing, Wrens, Cockies and farm friendly animals were apreciated by all. Very secure location for pets, with great conveniences and fresh eggs. Very relaxing stay.

Puupy heaven

Communication was amazing from the booking. I did recieve messages through out my stay which informed me things I wasn't aware of, much appreciated. Breakfast was a wide variety and was very appreciated. I was a little worried when l realised that one of my dramatic puppy's could see their dogs, but was assured that it was no problem each time she decided to show them her frenchie squeal. The cottage was a really good size and most of anything you need was there. My 5 dogs love lounging around and especially running the cottage area when we closed the gate. There is no possible was any of my dogs could escape as the set up and fences would have prevented this. Wifi and netflix were available which helped me relax. The hosts were amazing thru out my whole stay and were always happy whenever i saw them. My only issue because as much as my dogs have ears they do not use them, was that the area next to the cottage that was fenced was not accessible from the cottage itself, l had to leash them everytime we went out, once again this was a ME issue as they are trained, but only after 5 minutes will they listen lol. We will definitely be booking this cottage to stay again if my little ones are welcome back.

Awesome location!

Great little cabin, lovely, quiet location. Hosts were so helpful when we had some internet issues! Breakfast supplies were awesome. Our pooch was very well catered for. Would definitely recommend. Great communication with the hosts, they were lovely and their menagerie of animals were great!😊

It was a beautiful little cabin, the hosts were so kind and kept us updated with any information. Fridge had milk and fresh eggs from their own chickens. Was a wonderful stay. Our almost 3 year old loved it, loved the dogs and the livestock. Entry in and out was easy, highly recommend
