"We were in town for my grandmother’s funeral and wanted to spend a little time exploring CVille and Monticello while we were here. It was clean, comfortable, safe, and cozy. It was perfect walking distance to restaurants and the mall. We were a quick drive to Monticello and hikes. Beds were comfy. My boys loved the sonic the hedgehog video game on the TV when we were packing up and during a storm that came through. We couldn’t have picked a better spot for our family. "

"Our stay was great. The location is perfect - close to Charlottesville but also quiet and a little bit away from the center of activity. We discovered some great places in Crozet, too. Check-in was super easy, and the place was fun and quirky. Our hosts were excellent. We had a minor issue on day two and the host responded within 10 minutes and had the problem fixed in less than an hour. We had a great trip and we loved the place. "

"We had a great stay. The house is very nice and clean, and in a central location in Charlottesville. The neighborhood is lovely with many restaurants, shops, and things to do nearby. Check-in and check-out was easy, and the host communicated well. We would definitely stay there again."

"Our family had a wonderful time at The White Elephant Inn and would absolutely stay there again. It was clean, spacious, and the pool was such a hit with the kids! "

"The house and farm are just beautiful. We spent nearly the entire stay on the screened porch listening to the birds, watching the horses, goats, and chickens and enjoying the quiet serenity of the country. Our hosts could not have been more gracious and welcoming. We wondered around the property and soaked up the country, ate some amazing farm raised eggs, and made several excursions to nearby Monticello, antique shops, UVA, and 1799 at the Clifton for dinner. I highly recommended this beautiful...

"Great property. Roomy. Decorated beautifully. AC works well. Great location. We had no issues or problems with expected homeless population on Main Street mall. Included parking is a fantastic perk. 2 1/2 flights stairs not too bad.Be aware, historic building... floors are creaky. I think it adds charm. Booking process with the "Stay" management company part was a bit onerous (background checks, uploading id, etc) relative to other VRBO bookings I have made."

"This house is in a great location near lots to do. It is clean and comfortable. Our pup appreciated that it was dog-friendly! We will definitely seek out this rental again if we return to the area. "

"Near Monticello. There are great views! The unit is clean and comfortable. If you on the tall side, be careful of the sloped ceilings. The bed was comfortable. The shower was also nice. "

"Great location and beautiful view. Came with a friend to visit wineries, but this was also super convenient to historic Charlottesville and campus with easy access to 64. Appreciated the covered parking. Not somewhere I’d recommend to anyone who has trouble with multiple flights of stairs. But a very clean and comfortable stay!"

"Beautiful cabin in woods with view of mtns! Off the beaten path, but still close to anything needed. Cabin is restored from an older cabin, but has all modern conveniences. Highly recommend if looking to stay in a restored older cabin while visiting Charlottesville area."
