"There was no bedside light (despite there being two bedside tables) and no rubbish bin in the room. The curtains did not close properly. One window had a crack in it and there is no double glazing so the road outside was noisy. It was very hot, but we kept the windows closed to try to reduce the noise (no aircon).The staff were very helpful however (having moved us from a different room as the bathroom light wasn't working in that one)."

"I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding the disgraceful condition of the room we were given during our recent stay — an experience that was both distressing and unacceptable on every level.
After travelling seven hours from Edinburgh to Ipswich, we arrived exhausted and expected at least a clean, comfortable place to rest. Instead, we were met with a filthy, unhygienic room that bore no resemblance whatsoever to the images advertised online. The room we walked into was a total catfish...

"Very nice hotel, tucked away in a quiet location surrounded by lawns and trees. We were in a room behind the main building which was very comfortable, well equipped and air conditioned. The staff were all very helpful and we will definitely stay again. "

"As a first time user, pleasantly surprised with the quality and convenience of this Easy hotel. Will definitely use again when next visiting Ipswich. We chose a room with a window (frosted glass), so can't comment on how it would feel if windowless. Room compact and fine for a short stay (we stayed 2 nights). Good temperature control. Lots of breakfast options nearby, so the fact that this is not provided is not problematic. "
