"We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. "

"Everything was pretty much exactly what we expected. No major issues with the cabin, nice views, quiet location & dog friendly (huge plus!)It was the perfect size, they had plenty of dishes in the kitchen & some seasonings to use. A few pans looked like they weren’t cleaned all the way but we just rewashed them before use, no big deal. Huge dvd selection was awesome! Water pressure in the shower was nice & bed was comfortable. The only thing that could have used some improvement was the lighting...

"Easy check-in and check-out. Very clean and cozy. Loved the remote location. Exactly what we wanted for a truly relaxing vacation that we wouldn’t need a vacation from."

"A beautiful cabin and a responsive, helpful host. One thing I do want to call out is that the listing's callout that you should have AWD/4WD is somewhat underselling the challenge of a few of the hills and turns. It's a 1.6 mile, single lane gravel road to the property, with two sharp downhill (or uphill, when leaving) turns. The quality of one of the hills in particular has a lot of deep grooves, probably from people going up it in wetter weather, that can make navigating a little challenging....

"Great location for historic sites or Shenandoah national park. Host is very responsive, great spot with plenty to keep you busy when you've finished for the day. Great set of games, pool, ping pong, puzzles, arcade games, snacks, coffee. Enjoyed the stay and will be back if we're in the area."

"The cabin was perfect for an overnight stay. It was so secluded and the woods were beautiful. We were able to walk to the winery/brewery down the road and spent a lovely night by the fire. We were comfortable sleeping in the cabin with the windows open. The farm was very cool although the llama (alpaca?) didn't seem to like me :) The owner was amazing and went above and beyond when we left something behind. Would definitely recommend as a unique overnight stay. "

"We had such a great time at this riverfront home! The place is beautiful, peaceful, and has everything we needed for a relaxing couples and friends getaway. The hot tub was the perfect spot to unwind in the evenings, and the river was absolutely awesome—clean, refreshing, and perfect for all of our paddle boards and other float toys. Having a private dock made it so easy to enjoy the water all day, whether it was paddling, swimming, or just lounging by the river.The property itself is clean,...

"This property was everything and more. It was our home base while we hiked in Shenandoah National Park. The house was clean and communication with the owner was perfect. Mountain views, hot tub, and fire pit made this stay extra perfect. It felt like a cabin and that's exactly what we were looking for. The location was perfect"
