"Was a lovely place to stay, however we weren't aware that the hotel was not staffed after 1 pm on a Monday, also the restaurant was closed on Monday but they did suggest recommendations. The only other small but strange thing was the mini bar was communal in the outer Hall. Although we were self check in on the Monday, the staff we saw on the Tuesday were very helpful"

We were charged an extra 16CHF at the end of the stay that wasn't ours but was charged to the room, surely a mistake but their systems are unfortunately very old and they either can't look it up or don't care to, and the server likely didn't confirm at the time that the room was correct. "Omdat er geen airco aanwezig is moesten snachts de ramen open om de slaapkamer enigszins te koelen. Omdat er geen horren voor de ramen zaten, vlogen er binnen de kortste keren 20 vliegen binnen die ons de halve nacht wakker hebben gehouden. Ook op het terras van het hotel waren erg veel vliegen die op ons en het eten zaten."

"Helaas voldeed Romantik Hotel Beau Rivage niet aan onze verwachtingen. Het hotel ligt mooi aan heg meer. Maar wordt matig onderhouden. Toen we aankwamen en vanwege de hitte een drankje wilde bestellen gaf het hiervoor aanwezige personeel aan dat we nog een half uurtje moesten wachten. Zij hadden namelijk pauze. Ook het driegangen diner waarvoor we voor twee personen meer dan 175 Zwitserse Franken moesten betalen voldeed absoluut niet aan de verwachtingen. Kortom een teleurstellende ervaring."

"Great position on the Lake with easy access into Luzern, CHF4 each way. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with standalone Aircon which proved useful during our visit. Be aware most room do not have an unrestricted view of the lake due to a property in front of the hotel. Breakfast is taken across the road at the old hotel, but is good. The restaurant is in the same location across the road and we had a reasonable meal there. There is also a good Brazilian restaurant nearby. Be aware...

"Excellent breakfast and views. Charming area. Very popular. Parking was convenient. I stopped for a work trip but would go again for personal"

"The room was perfect for a solo traveler. I had a great view of Lake Lucerne. The room was soundproof so I did not even hear the wedding reception that was going on right below me. The staff go the extra mile to help with any request. The ferry arrives twice per hour and there is a bus to Weggis for light shopping. Paddle boards are available and there are a few stairs to the water. Highly recommend!"
