"Gorgeous retreat with multiple comfy and clear views of the lake, large trees, and bird songs for nature lovers but all the comforts of town within a few minutes. Hosts were responsive and had everything we needed when we realized we’d forgotten our own (wine opener, hair dryer, etc.). Would definitely stay again!"

"This being my first short term dwelling experience, I could not help but feel as if I was on the 15th floor of a 5 Star hotel. Imagine, if you would, a floor plan designed for merriment, fantasy and fun. The repetitive uuhhs and aawws sounded like a rehearsed melody. "Fantastic location near Naval Base Great Lakes. Nice quiet neighborhood. Easy to navigate around the area too. Good food nearby. First time the sailor could relax in nine weeks. "

"Property is clean & well kept. Host is on site, polite & quick to respond. Camper is in their driveway (not a campground). Privacy isn't an issue.The lake is 2 to 3 blocks from the property.The factory mattresses were the biggest disappointment. "

"This home is as comfortable and well equipped as described, with a very "homey" feel that is easy to settle into. Given its location, and the surrounding area, you may be deceived to think that its in more of a neighborhood or busy more urban location. It's quite the contrary. Once you've entered the home, and are out on the beautiful property, you are in your own private oasis that could be located in any North woods location. "Great adventure and experience! The property including boat was clean and had a safe surrounding. The onsite restaurant was great and shower rooms were extremely clean. Would highly recommend if you are wanting to try something new and outside the box"

"This place is extremely impressive and was clearly made for parties. We stayed 4 nights for a 50th birthday with a mix of 12-14 friends, relatives and kids. The main house is very nice, clean, and air conditioned, and was perfect to allow kids and people wanting to go to bed earlier to get a great nights sleep and be happy. "Staying in the Round Lake Beach area to visiting family. Room is great and clean. Pretty view of Fox Lake. Only draw back is it is over a bar. Karaoke comes right up through the floor. Not to much of a problem as the bar closes at 11:00. So just have to suffer through the drunken super star want a be singers. It is good for some laughs. Over all I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. "

"Super clean cute little house that’s very private. We came down for the Ren Faire and although it seems off the beaten path it’s very close The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.The bathroom was a little small but super clean. They also make up for the stinky well water with a nice cool jugMy only suggestion is to put a TV in the other bedroom "

"Fantastic boat stay. This is the second time we’ve stayed with Patrick and it’s been our favorite so far. Boat is immaculate and roomy for two. We really love the location as there’s always something going on at the marina or downtown. Within walking distance to whatever you need. It’s also very reasonable to stay here versus a hotel. One of our favorite places!!! "

"Home suited our needs perfectly. Only suggestion would be to have some basic toiletries in the bathrooms, such as shampoo or bars of soap. The bedroom with the bunkbeds needs one or two small nightstands, so you can put a phone or bottle of water near the bed instead of on the floor. Ended up using a cardboard box as my table. But would definitely come back."
