"Our stay at the Simple Patch was wonderful. Everything about the cottage is so considered, from the huge comfy bed, to the picturesque windows, and the convenience of a well-appointed kitchen. the cottage was private and comfortable, but we loved having the opportunity to bring our young daughter down to the homestead to meet the pony and feed the chickens - a great experience that added to our stay. "We had the most amazing time at the Clarendon Forest Retreat. We stayed in the Sanctuary house. The peace and quiet, sitting looking over the hills in the afternoon, and relaxing in the hot tub was so what we needed. Also, one of the highlights was when we were in the local corner shop, we were sharing with the lady at the cash register that we were staying at the Clarendon Forest Retreat and the gentleman behind us was the builder of the house! We highly recommend this place! "

"The view was fantastic even on rainy days. The apartment is well appointed with virtually everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. Having a wardrobe in each room meant we didnt have too much clutter in the room. We woild stay here again."

"Just a 2 min walk to the beach was just perfect. The veiws fron the upstairs balcony was just magic.Pet friendly was an added vonus with a doggie door in the laundry which was very convenient. My mum enjoyed the views from her bedroom and cant wait to rebook the property for our next stay."

Great retro pieces of furniture, well set up kitchen, great verandas, close to beach.Well set up games, books, cd’s.Loved the Frida Kahlo pics and reference's, in fact all the eclectic arts. Great art materials, if one wants to draw or paint. Nice garden for children.There is lots to love about it and hope to visit again. Its a really lovey home to relax and totally unwind in. "
