"There were stunning views, it was very relaxing, and we had excellent communication with the host. We couldn’t be happier, it was perfect! Kayaking was the best part. Plenty to see and do in the area as well."

"It may be titled "humble beginnings," but the host treats you like a VIP guest and goes the extra mile to make you feel special! The house is lovely and has everything you could ask for in a rental. I made a note in my original email that we were staying for my birthday weekend, and Elle left us the cutest basket with all sort of goodies to make my weekend special! Would highly recommend!"

"This is a cute, compact 1BR, 1 Bath cottage with great lake access with just a short walk. Good communication from the owner, easy access to Storrs and neighboring towns, and very clean. Loft area has limited space, but the main bedroom is quite comfortable. The only challenges were unrelated to the property (loud neighbors, disputes both nights) and sulfer smell in the water (easily fixed with a Brita pitcher)"

"My husband and I were exploring a number of birding hotspots in the quiet corner and decided to try the treehouse. We woke to the dawn bird chorus (without any ambient road noise). Just dreamy!"

"Elliot was available and courteous reservation and check in easy. Upon arrival 1st floor bathroom sink was not draining well, 2nd floor bathroom tub does not drain well hot and cold water are reversed sink water is also reversed. Missing sheet rock in dining room. All walls have either nails popping or water damage. We only slept at the residence one evening. I manage multiple high end properties on Nantucket and maintaining them year round. "Perfect location to see everything we planned in Rhode Island and Connecticut. Communication with Kelly was great, a slight issue with check in, but handled better than we would have expected. The snacks were great to have for our daily roadtrips, nice touch. Did not get a chance to use the spa or clubhouse, so busy enjoying the great outdoors. Would stay agin if ever in the area."

"The property has character. It is charming, clean, and ideally located in a quiet neighborhood . We were able to get to Walmart and Big Y for some snacks and toiletries and to Mohegan Sun for dinner. It was stocked with the necessities and has plenty of space for everyone. We all had a great time. The host was very responsive to all my questions before and during our stay. We would stay there again."

"We had a wonderful stay. Very peaceful, quiet, beautiful views. We also really enjoyed Hopeville Pond State Park which was only a 5 min drive. "

"The fenced in yard and everything was great for our pets. Communication with the hosts was also excellent! Everything was clean, the A/C window units and ceiling fans did the job of keeping us cool. All the appliances worked, including the washer and dryer in the basement. "

"Hosted a bachelorette trip at this property and it was fantastic. The kayaks and paddle boards provided plenty to do along with a firepit to sit around at night. The house was cozy with plenty of space to sleep 5. Had a great time! "
