Lake District Cumbria Gilcrux Solway Firth Cabin

This beautiful cabin in the quaint village of Gilcrux is in a Perfect location. Situated between the coast of the Solway Firth with views of the Scottish mountains and just a five minute drive to the Lake District national park. Just a ten minute drive is the historic town of Cockermouth or a ten minute drive to the costal town of Mary port.. Our Nearest Lake, Bassenthwaite, is only a short drive away, ideal for swimming, fishing, sailing or just relaxing taking in the mountain views. Surrounding Bassenthwaite lake is The Lake District wildlife park and the Lake District distillery. If it’s a day of relaxation you are looking for then also situated on the the lake is Armathwaite Hall spa and hotel. Amazing. Everything you need for a relaxing time.
When you arrive at the Beaches and settle in, if it’s meal or a drink your after then just across the road is the Mason Arms public house, serving great food, ales and all you would expect from a traditional Lakes pub.
The cabin is brand new with everything you will need to have a relaxing break in the Western Lakes.
Oh, and it’s pet-friendly too!
With a large lounge and open plan kitchen and dinning area it’s perfect for all your self catering needs.

This cabin has 2 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 4.
In the first bedroom, you will find a king bed.
The second bedroom contains 2 single beds.

There is one bathroom, which has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower.

Linen, towels, a hair dryer and an iron are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.

House Rules:
- Check-in time is 2pm and check-out is 11am.
- Smoking is not allowed.
- Free parking on the premises parking facilities available at the property.
- A washing machine is available on site.
- Pets are allowed at the property. Maybe a charge of £25 for any pishaps.  Please inform us of any of your pets needs.
We ask pet owners (as are we) to not allow pets on the beds and sofas due to hygiene and extra cleaning.
An additional £25:00 cleaning fee may be applied.

Amazing stay, caravan was beautiful, modern, clean and in a quiet,beautiful location. Lovely hosts, very helpful and friendly. Highly reccomended, near the lakes for wild swims and the coast and touring the beautiful Lake District.

Lovely caravan in a quiet little park, but not too far from the tourist spots. The decked area also benefits from the sun most of the day, and has comfortable seating. Nice local pub just over the road too, which is dog friendly.
