"Spa tub was lovely, veranda equally lovely. The room was clean and well appointed, front desk staff were not available when we arrived but communicated how to access our room - which was great. Dining options are sparse and you must drive if you want to have a proper dinner. No dining after 5pm at the clubhouse - which was kind of a bummer. Relaxing atmosphere for the room though - secluded and private. Incredibly peaceful. "

The restaurant for both dinner and breakfast is excellent with both the food and service being just that If I had one small grippe and I know it’s difficult but the possibility of having a light duvet wouldn’t go amiss. I tend to use a 4.5 tog duvet all year round and the duvet in rooms is heavy and I get too warm but mot enough to throw the duvet off"

"Had a lovely one night stay in cottage 3. Room was clean and quite with lovely views. Only thing missing was a curtain/blind for the small bathroom window but other than that perfect. Will definitely stay again."

"We enjoyed our 3 night stay very much. We were upgraded to a deluxe double room which was tastefully furnished , quiet and comfortable.The building is very interesting and conveniently located in the town. We enjoyed our meals and the ambience of the dining area. Our slight worry was that we might not be able to park when we went out for the day."
