"We had a fantastic stay! The house was clean, quiet and comfortable and waking up to a fresh sea breeze every morning was energizing. We went swimming nearly every day and took several area hikes. We also loved the proximity to Canada, and did a day trip to Campobello Island. Our only complaint: We couldn't stay longer! We can't wait to come back."

"Excellent property, incredible views, nice decks to relax on, and just a beautiful surrounding! We had everything we needed! Close to Quoddy Head, lots of hiking, we even drove out to the sand bar at low tide to watch people clamming! Bed was so comfortable, overall 5 stars and we would rent again! Thank you, Catherine for the lovely gift bag full of Maine goodies, and the special touches throughout the home. "

"Clean, quiet and very comfortable home with all the amenities. Host very responsive. East commute to Lubec, Machias and Campobello. Would stay again. "

"A perfect place to relax and soak in nature. The cottage was our base camp as we traveled to Acadia National Park, Lubec and Machias. The deck was the perfect place to drink coffee in the morning and watch the sunset in the evening."

"This is a lovely, roomy unit with great views over Johnson Bay. Bed and couch were comfortable and the kitchen well laid out for preparing meals. I was attending Summerkeys for a week so made most breakfasts and lunches as well as some dinners.Felicia responded quickly and appropriately to a minor issue and also lifted down the toaster which I, as someone who is vertically challenged, couldn’t reach!"

"We had a great time at this property. The house we clean, cozy and stocked with everything you could need! Beds were super comfy. Easy walk right down to the bay, and we saw and eagle and seals! Take a ride to Roque Bluffs and enjoy the quiet beach, and visit Jasper Beach to hear the rock music!"

"Beautiful cottage that had everything we needed. Very clean and only minutes from downtown. The only feedback I have is the use of the laundry detergent. Tide has a very strong scent that is not pleasing to many people. The use of a scent free detergent would create a neutral but clean appearance on the towels and bedding. "

"Stayed for a week and enjoyed every moment. The house was clean and very well-equipped. The location was very private and easy to access. We swam every day. The lake and waterfront were very swimmable, but I recommend wearing water shoes as it can be a bit rocky. Proximity to the coast and Eastport, Lubec, etc, is great. We were very comfortable here. We had our 80-pound dog, Stella, with us, and she approves as well. We would definitely return. Zero complaints."
