"We loved this place on Orange Lake. Such a cute cabin and relaxing. The living area looked out onto the lake and the kitchen were incredibly well stocked with everything we needed and then some. We spent an evening by the fire pit staring at the lake at sunset; they provided ample firewood. Patsy and Ken were great, responsive hosts. This was the first leg of our trip through Maine, and by the end, we were wishing we’d spent two more days at the Orange Lake cabin."

"I was only there for two days, and was busy, but the facility was warm and welcoming, beautiful, remote, a real hidden gem!!!"

"This was our fourth time staying at Geno’s and we always love it. The location is perfect, being a 2-minute walk to town, and our dog loves to walk me to the coffee shop in the AM. Geno is kind and helpful, and the jacuzzi is the best! "

"I can't say enough good things about this place. My husband and our two pups stayed here for a week for our 10 year anniversary and had the BEST time. The house has everything you could ever desire and was WELL equipped for cooking lobster meals at home as well as very pet friendly with a basket of toys our pups loved to rummage through. "We spent a glorious week at this lovely cottage! This cottage is an absolute gem! We have visited Lubec many times and the lodge we usually stayed in was booked so we tried this rental. It is our new favorite! The property owner, Catherine, is exceptional - she has added many touches to the rental that are over and beyond what a traveler expects from a rental. I am a horticulture professor and naturalist, my husband is a hobby photographer, and we are both avid birders. This property was perfect...

"Firstly Kelly the property manager was amazing when I had a problem with my credit card. Second, the house was very clean! The house was just right for us. Cozy and has good vibes:) yard for the kids and hammock were lovely and can’t beat the kitchen view. Location is close to Quoddy light and lubec center and groceries. All you need is within 10 min. We would happily stay in this sweet little house again."

"Troy’s cabin is beautiful and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The lake is literally just steps away from the door, and there are lots of windows and doors that look out over the water. A pair of geese with 3 chicks hung out right next to us, as did a mallard duck. The location is handy to many places downeast. Troy was helpful and even brought us some local coffee. We can’t recommend his place enough!"

"Very nice cottage , and clean. the Picture on your site, makes the Cottage look like it was right on the beach , which it is not. Its on a cliff, which was fine for us , but not fine for children. This is why We took 1 star away from the on line listing"

"The house was amazing! Lots of Victorian decor. Centrally located in Lubec to all the tourist attractions we were interested in seeing. Geno was a great host. When we had a problem with lighting the outside firepit, he came over in no time. A plus experience. We enjoyed the pool and pool table the last day of our stay."

"Plenty of room for all of us to have some alone time, although we spent most of the time relaxing on the deck taking in the beautiful panoramic views. This is a sunny spot, and the weather was perfect all week! It could use another umbrella for shade because the deck is full sun most of the day, but we sat at a picnic table on the shady side of the house to get some reprieval. Charlie delivered lobsters every other day, and at $5/lb we certainly over indulged! The house is older, and has a ton...
