"Great people and a perfect room. Good location for visiting many places in Dorset. The inn is an old thatched building with a decent beer garden and covered outdoor eating. The food is very good pub fayre and there are interesting specials. On Friday and Saturday delicious pizzas are also served, cooked in the outdoor wood fired pizza oven Breakfast is included with the room and there are a good variety of choices with quality ingredients. A great find that we will revisit if ever on holiday...

A word of complaint, bath/shower facility should have non slip bath mat as climbing out of the bath over the rim it was easy to lose your footing of your remaining leg as you lurch forward. 😢 One suggestion, hand dryers in the WC facilities should ideally be with the latest technology high speed, pressure type. Maybe Dyson type or design. 😅 Otherwise a perfect stay with great food and services. Liked the complimentary quality tea and coffee...

My room was clean and comfortable and the owners made sure I got in OK and allowed me to leave my bag in the building for a couple of hours after I vacated the room. "Great communications considering it was an on the day booking. Jenny went above and beyond to ensure we was accommodated as a family. We travelled with a portable cot, kettle in room and small fridge. Spacey, clean, tidy and cool. The street could be nosy if you have the front windows open but once closed it's quiet. "David and Lorna were lovely. Nice warm welcome and explained what was on offer and asked if there was anything that we needed. They were off on a short family break leaving the In Laws to cover Breakfast etc. Incl checking out and settling the bill 'if this had not already been done with David or Lorna before they had left'. Slight Communication breakdown we felt but overall had a fab stay. Reccommeded by us."

"Very clean and very friendly staff. Rooms were decently sized, and we had very little disturbance and noise. Beds were comfy and clean. We paid extra for breakfast which was decent and worth the money (a hot breakfast which is brought to your table and cereal, pastries and hot drinks that you can get yourself). Great location for the quay and old town, with shops, restaurants, pubs and many boat trips nearby. If we were to return to the area we would come back here. "
