"We only stayed the 1 night but would love to head back and explore. The outdoor areas are vast, great for the kids to run around and absolutely stunning view over the creek from a really comfortable viewing deck which we sat with a beer and watched the sunset. We briefly walked down to the creek and used the properties kayaks which we loved. We had a fire next to the cottage and toasted marshmallows such fun. "A well equiped and comfortable little bedsit cabin, very clean and pleasantly furnished. The a/c heating warmed it up nicely. It was pet friendly with a yard to take the dogs for a quick accompanied walk. The dining table and vanity tap could do with a little TLC but nothing serious."

"Leah is a wonderful host and her place in Kurrajong was perfect for our weekend getaway. Loved the butterfly theme and every little detail and item in the house. Had many options of movies to see and books to read. Felt I was in heaven and didn’t want to leave the house for other activities haha :))) Definitely recommend and hopefully get the chance to go back again when in the area. "

"We stayed 9 nights - it was cosy and just what we needed while our house was being painted. Only has a kitchenette but with a bit of imagination we managed to cook for 2. Magnificent views and gardens. "

"We all love this cottage. It's very neat and clean. Beds are very comfortable and with electric blankets. The view is fantastic and you could enjoy the sunrise just in the backyard with hot coffee in your hand.location is also great, 5-min drive to Bilpin or Botanic Garden."

"Fantastic House with all the amenities. House was very clean and kids had a ball downstairs in the theatre room and games room while parents relaxed upstairs. What more can you ask for. Heidi, thanks for a lovely stay and answering all our questions. Added bonus, fresh eggs everyday from the chook house. Kids loved collecting these each day."

"Our group of two families absolutely loved staying at MudBrick Cottage. The owners were so warm and welcoming, it is an excellent location, and we enjoyed being off-grid with no internet access! The kids had fun on the tennis court. A terrific winter escape. "

As it is July, it was rather cold outside but the accommodation was warm and had everything we needed, including a fantastic breakfast ready in the fridge for us on arrival. The kitchen was well stocked and the place was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable, with the added benefit of electric blankets to keep us warm!The only down side was the poor mobile...

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here this weekend. Arrangements were easy, with clear communication and arrival instructions. The house is a real gem, is very comfortable and had everything we needed and more for ourselves, kids and dog. It was so peaceful and relaxing with a lovely view and we had plenty to do at the house and in the area. We'd love to stay longer the next time we have a chance to visit the area. "

"The property is perfectly located to give you a nice quite time with family and friends, but still only 5mins away from Coles/Woolies.It has everything to entertain the whole family, from the heated pool, table tennis, gym, and even Play station.The plale is clean and the 6 rooms could fit the whole football team Nathan is great with the communication and all instruction are very clear.Definetly will coming back again"

"The house is full of colonial charm with all the comforts. The owners had even laid the table and decorated it with a little Christmas tree. The kitchen was well equipped and even well stocked with some cereals and treats with a kind “help yourself” note. The garden is lovely and gives the feeling of being in the bush when you are conveniently just off the highway."
