"Excellent location! Extremely clean and staff was fantastic. We found an area on the carpet in our room that was wet. Appeared to be from the overhead air conditioning unit. Staff offered a new room. We were only staying the one night so we declined the offer. Would highly recommended this beautiful hotel! "

"Delightfully restored old hotel in heart of city—walkable to all I needed. Free water and soda was a nice touch. Room was small but elegant; 3/4 bath (no tub) was surprisingly large."

"Very different, but nice. Intriguing decor. Only issue is lack of available dining/bar options in the hotel. No vending machines, and the bar was closed most days. Good place if you’re on a diet. However, lots of options within walking distance - it’s right downtown so plenty of restaurants. "

"Location is good for many things, but limited things to do by foot without walking some distance from the hotel. It is kind of an island in a big city downtown. But it does have a good place to eat inside, and Starbucks also attached to the hotel. No pool anymore. Parking is expensive but seems fairly safe. It is possible to walk to Federal Hill from the hotel, but you have to cross 3 busy multi-lane streets and see some seedy folks - a group of younger people would have no problems."

"DO NOT STAY HERE 1. The property is located in an area that I did not feel safe to walk around in. Being stared at by numerous large groups of people as they were setting fireworks off outside the building in broad daylight. 2. The hostel is located directed above a nightclub, which is not stated anywhere on the site. This nightclub was booming music all through the evening into the night so loud my floor was shaking and I could not go to sleep even with earplugs in. 3. The place is extremely...

"Hotel was in downtown. We check in after 1am, our desk clerk couldn’t have been helpful and friendly. Even gave us cold water at check in. The room was clean but did have a musty smell. The breakfast was good. The coffee good and hot."
