"A pet friendly home in a great location! We could easily walk to the downtown mall, to the corner or to grounds. We loved the space. One disclosure, there is not a lot of welcoming space to walk your dog for a quick trip outside, yoh have to walk down the street. "

"We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. "

"Beautiful place with everyone you need in a peaceful setting! Everything was spotlessly clean and although it was too cool during our visit for the pool, it looked clean and inviting. Check-in was simple and hosts are friendly and hospitable. You will not be disappointed!"

"Great location for historic sites or Shenandoah national park. Host is very responsive, great spot with plenty to keep you busy when you've finished for the day. Great set of games, pool, ping pong, puzzles, arcade games, snacks, coffee. Enjoyed the stay and will be back if we're in the area."

"One (probably the smallest) of several lodgings on the property. Overall, a pretty cool place to stay. The whole unit has a subtle sway to rock you to sleep. Personally, I loved it. We stayed in 90 degree weather and the A/C was a LIFESAVER. My only real complaint was one of the other guests in the castle kept leaving the common kitchen a bit messy. Thinking about coming back and trying the hobbit house. We pretty much kept to ourselves, but there are plenty of common areas to hang out."

"Awesome property and location. We had a group with 11 adults and 8 kids. It was perfect for entertaining kids and adults. We will definitely book again."

"This cottage was the perfect place for a weekend getaway in the Charlottesville area! It has a nice secluded feel and yet is close to wineries, grocery stores, etc. We were not bothered at all by the train or cars on 250. The house itself is even more charming than in the pictures with carefully selected touches for a tea room vibe. It was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Mary was very responsive to questions and all instructions were very helpful. I would definitely love to return!"

"The Natchez was great! Exactly as it was described online. Comfortable with all amenities. It was a great location for nearby wineries we visited over 2.5 days. Well appointed kitchen and toiletries too. Definitely will be back and would recommend to others! Cheers."
