"Rockfish River Cabin is every bit as visually appealing and comfortable as the photos and all of the reviews suggest. Its location and surroundings were also perfect for us. We (two couples and our pup) spent a wonderful three nights there and will be happy to return next year. Can’t beat the peaceful views and sounds of the river from the deck. We also enjoyed the walking path very much. Grilling on the deck and cooking in the well equipped open kitchen was a pleasure. Recommend Three-Notch’d...

"Great location - easy drive to so many hikes, nearby coffee shops, Charlottesville for dinner, and so very peaceful back at the cabin. Clean house, clear communication, lovely river trails. We've stayed in many cabins through the years, and hope to return to this one."
