"Room was mostly clean. The bedding was mismatched polyester and cotton which wasn’t the most comfortable. Our room was loud at night and on night 2 someone next to us smoked cigarettes, leaving the room smelly all night. Unfortunately didn’t sleep well but it was a bed for the night. I liked the kitchen area and the lobby was nice. Staff was friendly, just unfortunately had bad neighbors and bedding."

"The entire property felt like it wasn’t level, the room slanted in the middle, the carpeting was ripped and disgusting. Furniture and fixtures were outdated and very worn. Overall, just a terrible hotel. Would not stay again…ever."

"You have to be ble to tolerate cigarette smoke because you can smell it everywhere. The room was clean but the beds are horrible. I had a feeling of falling out the bed because the mattress was to soft or badly wore. The room was large and spacious."

"Originally booked the place for three nights but experienced flight delays so we did not check in the first night. Attempted to check-in the following day and front desk was not accommodating even though I paid for three nights already. It was not like they were not making money if I did not showed up that first night. Terrible policy and staff were not understanding. I rebooked because I did not want to look for another hotel in the middle of the night while it was raining. Room was small but...

"It was too cold for the pool! The property is in a great location, the staff kind and very helpful. The on site restaurant is quite wonderful. I would have to say we had the best meal of our stay of 4 nights in Chicago!the rooms are large and airy and very clran"

"I had a nice two night stay at the Blackstone. It’s well maintained, clean and staff are friendly. It’s near the river and was a 5-10 minutes walk to the Art Institute and Auditorium Theatre. Bath products were lovely and the robe was so comfy. I was a solo female traveller and I felt very safe and comfortable at this property. Two small considerations: the restaurant closes by 10. Coming home from the theatre, it would have been nice to have a nightcap option that didn’t require an uber ride....

"My second stay here. Absolutely enjoyed my stay both times. Walking distance to many great restaurants, theaters, and attractions. Not in an insanely crowded area, especially on Saturday and Sunday. Very affordable parking with in/out privileges. Will now be my go-to hotel when I’m in town."
