2/10, Horrible

Dear Ryan Burkart,
I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the Travelodge by Wyndham in Chicago. I travel frequently and have always trusted Wyndham properties to uphold a certain level of quality and cleanliness, but what I experienced during this stay was far below acceptable standards.
Upon checking into my room, I immediately noticed concerning issues:
• The bed sheets had visible black stains.
• The carpet (and bathroom floor) contained shards of glass, which I stepped on and cut my foot.
• The toilet had black mold, and the bathtub was visibly dirty.
• The overall cleanliness of the room was extremely poor and not fit for occupancy.
When I contacted the front desk to report these issues, the staff member I spoke with was dismissive and unhelpful. She stated there was no broom available for me to address the glass on the floor myself, and her tone was extremely rude. When I explained that my sheets were dirty from the conditions, she told me I could come downstairs to get new sheets, which meant I had to replace my own bedding rather than receiving proper housekeeping service. She did not offer a new clean room. She said the cleaning staff would be in tomorrow morning to clean. She disregarded the fact that I cut the bottom of my foot open. She also was not apologetic for the situation. I want to complain. This was horrendous.
To summarize: during my stay I was injured by unsafe room conditions, forced to handle cleanlin
