The famous abbey which is standing out on the other side of the river Esk. A number of seat in this area for a relaxing sit down but not many people about because of the cold. Best part of the day.

Internet was fine, shops about 15 minutes walk. Very hilly, lots of steps to the shops. Lots of places dog friendly, loads of dogs around. Hotel was good dog friendly too.
