I understand a reasonable expectation of cleanliness upon checkout as rental properties provide amenities hotels cannot, but if someone is paying 600 to stay for two days, I don't think it's right to expect them to drive a garbage bag all the way to the entrance of the property or be fined the equivalent of...

"Hot tub was hot, smelled like sulfur a bit but not super bothersome. The bedroom was quite dust filled. The bathroom was beautiful, probably the peak of the stay. The private lake part isn't truthful, it may be private for the owners but this particular cabin was not. Was told they couldn't give us the exact place it was because of privacy". very strange. We went and found it about a half a mile away from my cabin and it was like a couple feet from a septet cabin so maybe that cabin needs that...

"The hot tub was awesome. The cabin was ok. The thermostat was locked so the temp in the cabin stayed between 64-68 degrees with below zero temps outside. Also, there are gaps in the wood walls in the downstairs bedroom so that room was way colder than the 64 degrees showing on the thermostat. The dishes were scant and I was glad we had planned on going out to eat for our stay. There would not have been enough pots/pans, etc if we had wanted to cook. The cabin was clean but disappointing overall....
