Stay at Fountain View I and step back in time while visiting historical downtown Wellsboro PA. Once a Lutheran Church, this historic landmark is located right in town and within walking distance to the local artisan shops and restaurants. Look out the windows or sit on the front porch to view the Wynken, Blynken, and Nod fountain on the relaxing and peaceful Wellsboro green.

Wellsboro is home to the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania, visit Leonard Harrison State Park or Colton Point State Park for the breathtaking overlooks and hundreds of miles of hiking trails. Enjoy 87 miles of fishing or kayaking on Pine Creek. The historic Pine Creek Rail Trail that was once a railroad bed offers 62 miles perfect for bike riding, walking, cross country skiing, or horseback riding. Cherry Springs State Park offers stargazing at its finest, stare up at the truly dark sky and see thousands of stars, constellations, or the Milky Way. Whether you visit Wellsboro for the endless outdoor adventures like hunting, fishing, skiing, or the small hometown feel of our beautiful Main Street absolutely full of local artisan shops, restaurant's, wine tasting, and unique shopping opportunities, there is something here for everyone to enjoy.

Fountain View sleeps 4 guests comfortably with two bedrooms. The first offering 1 king size bed with tv and dresser, and in the second 1 queen size bed. Also a cozy office space. There is 1 bath with a shower stall, and a 1/2 bath, washer/dryer, ironing board & iron. The kitchenette offers countertop cooking appliances, refrigerator, Keurig, dishes, cookware, and cutlery. A comfortable living room with TV/cable and a dinette.

Parking:
1 designated on site parking space available for 1 vehicle located straight into the driveway on the left. Number "1" parking space. All other parking spaces on the property are reserved.

Free on street parking located within one block of rental for any additional vehicles

Complimentary amenities include a limited supply of paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, laundry detergent, dish soap, and trash bags. Linens and towels provided. Please be prepared to bring any other items you or any other guests might need during your stay.

So cozy and clean, comfortable beds, plenty of amenities and everything possibly need. A lot of nice heavy blankets and comfortable furniture. Loved the Christmas tree. Would stay again. Only suggestions is a newer tv in bedroom, and have a paper or pamphlet in office about the history of the building. Put wheels on the island in kitchen to move it so you can open door between living room and kitchen. I’ll recommend this place to all our friends and family visiting the area.

Great stay in Wellsboro! The house was well appointed and comfortable. It had everything we needed and was in a super location! The town of Wellsboro is charming and everything was in walking distance from the house. It was our base for hiking in the Grand Canyon of PA - an incredible place. I would definitely want to stay here again when I come back to this beautiful area.

All restaurants, shopping, pharmacy, and grocery within walking distance. See the PA Grand Canyon, and go to Cherry Springs on a clear night. Mansfield is close as well with some fun shops. Hiking everywhere and breathtaking landscape.

Quaint Town…Great Location

The property met our needs quite well. We enjoyed the fountain while sitting on the front porch, listening to the church bells, and playing cards. Biking, hiking, tubing, and shopping were all close by and great times! Kristen answered our questions promptly and was very kind. Thank you!

Little gem!

This was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I arrived, everything was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly accommodating and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect close to everything and it made it easy to explore the area. Convenient

Property is convenient to do things in town. Would like to see them rethink the main bath. The shower is small even for a thin person. Should make the laundry in the main bath and the half bath make it the full bath. Also tell your guest the history of the building you should tell

Location, Location!

The location of this property was wonderful. There was a beautiful view of the green and fountain. Sitting on the porch was amazing. We were able to walk to restaurants and enjoyed every one we visited. Many opportunities for biking and hiking are nearby. We especially enjoyed renting e-bikes for navigating the trails. The property itself is very clean and cozy. The second bedroom is small and did not have an air conditioner which made it a bit stuffy in that room. But there are room air conditioners in the other rooms. We did not do any food preparation during our stay but everything seemed well equipped in the small kitchen (micro wave only). We would definitely return to this area and home again.

Awesome place

This is a great place to stay and for me the best was very comfortable beds and this is a rarity. The view is of the Central Park. Sit on the little front porch and have your coffee😎👍
