"Was okay. The building was archaic and awkward but comfortable enough. Made use of the steam room and also ate supper, both of which were decent experiences. Not sure how much id recommend it but I suppose at the price we paid, it was a reasonable experience."

"Gym is chargeable, there is a pool in the pictures on Google Maps - nope. Our room was directly above the bar and function room where a wedding party had thumping music until very late. Minimal parking but plenty on the streets nearby. Great reception staff, but wish they'd given us a room in the quieter part of the hotel!"

"The service of the staff was excellent and car parking is free. However, the plug sockets next to the bed required moving the bedside tables, so if you want to use any electrical devices whilst in bed, you had to use the sockets across the room. The toilet positioned in the room were too close to the wall and the handles to open the windows were loose and call fall out anytime. "

"Great staff, clean and tidy room, good location with easy car parking. Great food including very good options for my coeliac wife. This is a quaint more traditional style of hotel with it seemed like only six rooms. You still get a room key attached to a fob rather than the key cards you tend to get nowadays and the flooring is a little sloped in places all adding to the charm. We had just a one night stop over but would be happy to return."
