"My kids, grandkids ages 8-17 stayed for 4 days in December. It was nice that the house was decorated. We enjoyed the hot tub and the ping pong table. We visited the Farnsworth House nearby which was really interesting!"

"We were disappointed in this unit. This is a very old building that needs a lot of work. The windows are filthy. The front door mats are bunched up in a pile on the front stoop. The ‘movie themed’ decor was chinsy at best. The parking area is filled with garbage, broken cinder blocks, a tire, and a junked car. There weee old shoes on balcony. The ‘landscaping’ was filled with garbage and debris. The check-in rules and regulations are extensive (requiring expensive insurance or $5,000 cash...

"We should have listened to the other reviews on this place, but unfortunately there wasn't much in the area to choose from. From the moment we walked in it smelled terrible, almost like a skunk smell. Obviously it's right on the Fox River so there's going to be bugs but a lot of the windows especially upstairs are not sealed right and in one of the bedrooms there were a ton of mosquitoes and other bugs all over the ceiling. "Overall really nice. It was clean and had extra towels/blankets and adequate kitchen. Plenty of space. Wifi was fine. It had fair AC and water. The washer dryer worked and she even left us enough soap for a few loads. The neighborhood was nice and we even went on a walk around to walk my dog. Would absolutely book again. "Cute older home. New furniture and bedding. The home is older but is clean and spacious. Carpet is a little stained but there is a sign asking for no shoes on carpet so I feel like they are trying to keep it. Anything we messaged the host about they were prompt on replying. The parking is not for larger vehicles, it’s a narrow entry to the parking area. Very quiet little neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. "

The location is walking distance to downtown Yorkeville (great food/bars, walking, etc) but also a park 2 blocks in the other direction so the dogs were very happy. "So much attention to detail with amenities and instructions at this property. Everything was well thought out to make our stay enjoyable and easy. Very clean and check in/out were easy!"

"This space was excellent for all of our needs and more! We have family in the area and we were able to just walk everywhere needed. Excellent restaurant across the street. We have walked by this space countless times in the past when we lived downtown and never knew about it. The train that goes by is loud like a train should be but just added to the charm of the area cant say enough great things about it. Cant wait till our next stay!"
