The basement activities were fun for everyone. The playroom for the younger children is wonderful! It was an easy check in and out. Kathy, the hostess was very responsive to questions. "This was one of the best rentals we’ve stayed at in Galena. We have stayed at a lot of them. Incredibly quiet and peaceful. Love the TV watching setup and the furniture was comfortable. So unusual in a rental. Both my husband and I have back issues so need support and a way to put up our feet. First time we went home without pain/discomfort. Loved that one of the showers was a normal size and not a tiny square. We stayed for a week and didnt need the air conditioning with the windows open...

The fridge was turned to its warmest setting, I turned it to the middle of the dial which said “optimal” and after 5 hours it was still warm, and our food was getting warm.
